Holiday, i love!

I am not my sassy self today. I don't have the energy to do anything, i feel very lazy. It might be the anticipation of the coming long weekend. It is National Heroes Day on monday, holiday i love, love! On monday, will be my FIL's 40 days too..

My husband made a sweet post for our 22nd month on his blog (which is the very first time), so i have to return the favor of doing my post for him. Of course, i am equally sweet noh!! And upon leaving him comments that i made my official kilig entry on our special day today he surprised me with a greenwich lasagna supreme right in front of me at my desk! (i have been craving for that pasta for years already!!)He succeeded on surprising me big time! You got to have an access before you get in to wherever floor you are going here in our building. So it must be luck that the door was open when he arrived on our floor. Plus he already befriended our lobby guards way back when! :) So it was a continuous teasing part with the officemates :) weeeh but really am so kilig! Like a teenager who get a glimpse of his crush, that is what i feel right now! hahah

I have my 5 blogs being maintained on weekdays as i don't have internet connection at home, weekends mean rest from blogging. I heard a lot of questions on how do i manage my 5 blogs. The choir is really thankful to all the donors of my Dress the Choir Project. I am still not closing the project as we will still have another set of uniform. Next time for a more classy look. We cannot wear these BLUE on a wedding right? ;) (wedding: where we are expected to be dolled up all the time! yes, you can get us to sing on your wedding if you wish! free of charge if you're a friend, hahah)

Quadruplets?

I am dreaming of having a lot of kids someday. Having a daughter makes me long for a boy for a next baby. At this time, i am preparing yena by asking her if she wants a baby brother, to which she would always nod. I hope she won't change her mind and anticipate the coming of another baby next year, help me God! ;)

I just can't imagine if i will have 4 boys at home just like my SIL (husband's eldest sister) who is currently heavy with her fifth child, hoping the baby will be a girl this time! That four boys above are her howdy boys.

But what i love most about having lots of kids are the matching shirts :) Husband and i found those four shirts on a friday night sale at a mall and delighted to found out a small, medium, large and extra large sizes! I love looking at them :)

Murray gave him a range of medication including a 25-milligram dose of propofol via an intravenous drip at 10:40 a.m. PDT.

Pop star Michael Jackson died from a lethal dose of the powerful anesthetic propofol given in a cocktail of drugs, leading authorities to suspect his doctor of manslaughter. Jackson sought out propofol -- routinely used to sedate patients and anesthetize them before surgeries such as a colonoscopy -- and called it his "milk."

Heaven Sent

I never thought someone i just knew would be such a big blessing not only to me but to the whole choir. My Dress the Choir Project is synonymous to success, that's why am smiling like there's no tomorrow. Thank you so much Mareng Seiko for the $50 donations! This is really a surprise! You got me today! Thanks and God bless you more! It is my first time to ask for donations, I am really shy type in person and i won't ask for help only if there are lots of opps available. Am planning to have lots of project using my blogging money, I know the Lord will help me. But my first project seemed not moving so i decided to ask for cents from the blogging world. My husband has been saving for his LCD TV since summer. He really wanted that 32” box after learning that there is a Direct Sat TV in our area. Kikamz left me this question yesterday. I told her i have to think it over, so i went home with this question in my crazy mind.

For me, old is when I already have full dentures on and then drink at the glass where I soak that dentures from last night because I totally forgot that it’s gross to do such. :)

And i would feel really Old when I cannot put on my own underwear! :D

Stop Searching!

The internet has made life easier these days. Gone were the days of doing the research at the library, if they still do exist they will be outdated already. Oh well, exclude the books of novels I would always marvel. As the fast paced of the internet has come to each and every home, searching for files and downloading seems very trouble-free. The batch of students are luckier now, I envy them!

I often tell my cousins who are still studying in college (and it has been a broken record already)to stop searching anywhere else, I always tell them to use Rapidshare Search Engine. I guess now they know the big difference!

Joe Jackson officially told New York Daily News that, Michael Jackson the "King of Pop" will be buried at a Los Angeles cemetery on August 29, which would have been his 51st birthday! Source

A Fun Weekend at SOM!

I always try my best to attend to all the reunions of my dear alma mater, the Sisters of Mary School (SOM). Me and my friends would often visit the place every March (Fr. Al's Death Anniversary) and August (The School's Foundation Day). Since Yobib and I became an item, we see to it to visit the place together. Now that we have Yena, we always bring her in tow.

Before, it's running after my batchmates/friends whom i haven't seen for a long time but this time it's running after Yena. ;)

And because Ate Sheng, who is based in Dubai and who was also a schoolmate, requested to see me and my daughter Yena, Off we went yesterday to finally meet her! Thanks for the chocolates and almonds ate sheng! :)

Elusive Internet Connection

My affair with internet connection in the past left me brokenhearted. It is giving me heartaches until now. I loved smartbro connection when we were still living with my in-laws. Without a good signal on our house, I had it disconnected and it left me with obligation to pay smart of a pre term charges! Even if smart can’t provide me a connection I don’t have the right to cut their service?! That is totally absurd, I won’t pay them, I guess I will take that obligation down to my grave.

I bought smart wireless thinking this could be the answer. I used the kit for not more than 10 times and I gave up. It has the poorest connection ever! So I sell it for a lesser price.

My last option was with Digitel. Now talking about customer service at its worst is like talking about Digitel. After a month of fully paid installation fee and first month MSF, there isn’t sign of installation from them so I decided to quit my application and asked for refund. Already three weeks now and I haven’t received my money back. Now that is digitel! Would you mind getting their service?

Before, I was stressed on getting an internet connection at home but now i am not anymore. I guess with those heartaches I got from them I have to move on without it.

Though am still hopeful that the best internet connection is yet to come! ;)

No Cellphone for 2 weeks and counting

At this age and time where everybody holds one cellphone or more, I am trying to live without a cellphone. It is by chance and by choice. By chance, my two year old Motorola phone isn’t working anymore; it seemed to have reached its retirement already. Now it is by choice that I don’t buy a new one simply because (1 )I am still holding on that the Motorola phone will be fixed, given that I let somebody fix it (2) buying a new one isn’t included on the MUST BUY for the year.

So how am I doing for the past two weeks without that thing I previously said I cannot leave home without?

I am basically FINE. I am still alive even without it, hahah :) BUT i expect to be lost every now and then, ahahah. What I miss most is hearing the sound of my daughter’s laughter (my ringtone) and I miss reading text messages and answering husband’s calls. Oh my, I miss having cellphone but I am getting by.

BUT now I have my cellphone back! Motorola is back! Weeeeeeh :) It is still working, i just changed the battery last night and it's still good as new! Happiness :)

Meteors shower on August 2009

I feel very blessed this week. If it isn’t the meteors showering on me, I know this is God working in mysterious ways. Papa must be working in heaven too, whispering to the angels to help her favorite choir on earth. Thank you very much for all the angels/donors of my dress the choir project! To the following generous people: Ghie, Yobib, Glenda, Umma, Rose, Kikamz and Ria! Thank you for being the big part of the project! ;)

Now for those who want to watch the perseid meteor shower which is also known as the Tears of St. Lawrence as it occurs roughly the same date as St. Lawrence’s death on August 10, Austronomers suggest this to the viewers in the eastern portion of North America. A double peak this year is on Wednesday morning, the 12th of August 2009. One peak should occur around 1:00 a.m. EST and the other peak around 5:30 a.m. EST.

I have been praying for a total donation of $50 only, i know this amount will be enough for the group of 12 people! But looks like its been raining lately and it is really pouring! Yeheey! The search is over!

I might have been very addicted to blogging that aside from maintaining three blogs I started a new blog with its own domain a month ago. It’s as if I am not busy as a bee, working until I drop on weekdays, tending my toddler every weekend, and maintaining my marriage with my husband whom I even convinced to blog!

I know there are a lot of bloggers who hold more blogs than I do but there is something in blogging that keeps me upbeat, I guess other bloggers feel the same way too. I might have been born to blog, now that’s a joke!

Now back to my first ever blog with its own domain. I am in deep thoughts now on creating my fifth blog (also with its own domain!) so my thoughts are on what web host to use. Coincidentally, i bump into this site that has great articles about web hosting. So now I am planning carefully on what web hosting provider to choose from their various list of best web host in terms of affordability and reliability.. I know I have to take it easy choosing but with their list of affordable and reliable web hosting providers I guess I have to hurry, there are promotional and discount coupons I don’t want to miss!

A Letter to my 18 Month Old Toddler

Dearest Boyeng,

You just don’t know how you made me the happiest mother in the whole wide world last night. Lying beside each other, I was telling you to sleep while I was trying to hug you but you keep on moving, and then you suddenly face me and said ‘KISS’ while my eyes were closed. Did you just say Kiss? All along I thought I was dreaming but you clearly said KISS, I tried to stop my joyful tears from falling and then we kissed, you turn your back and hug your pillow again. Those months of tucking you to bed with a kiss in your ears and a whisper of goodnight finally pay off.

I might have slept already but then I heard you calling me, mommy (in your own slang way it sounds like Mem Mi). As sleepy as I was I opened my eyes half-closed and then you said LOVE. We have been embracing, giving family hug now and then; we taught you that hugging is LOVE. In the middle of the night you woke up and said: mommy and love? At that moment I thank God again and again that I have you.

I was smiling all the day here at work when one officemate commented ‘you look so happy today!’ Now it finally sinks in, my 18 month old toddler finally told me those three words I have been longing to hear. KISS, LOVE and MOMMY.

How can I be sad? I have you! Thank you for making me happiest everyday.

It's Ghie's Birthday Today!

Read it righty! the gayest RN on earth who authors CONFESSIONS is celebrating her birthday today! Please hop on her blog and greet her with me! She will be the happiest for sure!

So how did i know ghie? She is the younger sister of katrina, my classmate from college/closest buddy since first day at PLM (we're friends for 11 years already??!!)/ yena's godmother/ and my beloved confidant!

The birthday girl Ghie, my daughter Yena and my very dear friend Katrina (if there's one person who knew me fully well other than my husband, that is katrina!)

It was at a christmas party that i had been pushing katrina to blog! but it looked like the more eager to learn blogging was the younger sister, so i gave her a gist on how it works. i didn't knew then she would embrace blogging so much that she has her nursing website now!

And ghie also is a 'part time' member of our 7 year old choir! She has been very busy lately that she can't join us every sunday, i miss her singing! :) I hope she can sing with us this sunday though!

I have to live without You!

My Motorola cellphone was with me since April 2007. It has served me two lovely years already so I guess when it’s letting me down lately I have to understand. I guess it badly needs rest.

I have been cellphone-less these past few days. The cellphone is with me but it’s off. I don’t know why it’s not working anymore. Maybe the accumulated falls it received from my daughter’s throwing days resulted to its early retirement. But as I said, it already served its purpose. I just worry on those meet ups with friends as I am always lost for directions, it is my constant help all the time.

But husband has his cellphone still in very good condition so I guess I just have to borrow his nokia cellphone, who shares the same birthday (buy date) with my Motorola phone. I therefore conclude, nokia is of the most quality rather than Motorola. Nokia has its shares of falls also courtesy of our daughter but it endures them all!

I get used to not having you for days I guess I can live without you. Bye Motorola. Bye cellphone. As much as I’d like another cellphone I have lots of projects to prioritize and that includes my first project for our choir! Please we need to dress up! Please help us (do i sound like begging?).. OR SS or PPP just give me opps heheh ;)
