Mushy Valentines Letter from a Desperate Wife

Dearest Kabute,

Do you still remember those days when we call each other MUSH? Oh, those were the days.. 4 years ago we call each other with many hateful names and then months later we call each other the mushiest and cheesiest. I called you ‘kabute’ and you called me ‘mush’– those were the cutest days of our lives - get the picture of how cupid played a fool out of us? you should! lol.

But you know one thing? I love our transformation from enemies to tennis buddies to friends to best of friends to shock absorbers to mushy lovers to naughty couple and to thankful parents through these years. I love the way I am when I am with you.. I love the way you are and the way you made sunget to me, hahah.

I would not want any other life than my life I have with you. You are everything I wish for daddy dearest, I love you with all my heart and soul…

Happy Valentine’s Day!

PS: Hey! wake up and don’t be mushy, this letter is just a hint. TAKE ME OUT ON A DATE! I am sooooo soooo sooo desperate for a date. Harhar

Dear God,

My Husband, that fool woke up early this morning. He told me he has to report to work an hour early. With my eyes still closed, he kissed me goodbye and whispered ‘iloveu’ as he head to the door. After an hour I got up and proceed to the bathroom. My sleepiness flew away as soon as I saw that beautiful red rose with a note that says:
Dear wifey,

I am so blessed. Though I didn’t give you the best flowers in the garden, God gave me the best wife in the world. Belated happy 2nd anniversary.. my beautiful and sexy wife. I am so lucky to have you! I love you so much. Mwah

Hugs and kisses,
Hubby Yobib
I cried (as usual) while laughing, yes like a fool i used to be while taking a bath. My husband knows how much i love roses. Last night he went home with two grocery bags full of goodies for me and yena. He bought the melon I have been craving since last week.. He has a job so demanding of his time so night time means a little chat than we used to do before we go to sleep, I miss him. He is on his ass working from 7am until you know when today I hope he got time to read this post of mine.

I love him and am so thankful for all the moments and surprises he continues to shower me, am sooo blessed for having him in my life.. Thank you Lord!

Kilig to the bones :)

My husband made a sweet post for our 22nd month on his blog (which is the very first time), so i have to return the favor of doing my post for him. Of course, i am equally sweet noh!! And upon leaving him comments that i made my official kilig entry on our special day today he surprised me with a greenwich lasagna supreme right in front of me at my desk! (i have been craving for that pasta for years already!!)He succeeded on surprising me big time! You got to have an access before you get in to wherever floor you are going here in our building. So it must be luck that the door was open when he arrived on our floor. Plus he already befriended our lobby guards way back when! :) So it was a continuous teasing part with the officemates :) weeeh but really am so kilig! Like a teenager who get a glimpse of his crush, that is what i feel right now! hahah

Thank you so much for the lasagna and for the sweet entry on your blog!
Happy 22nd my husband!
Love you lots! :)

He got his BALLS on father's day

He got TWO alright.

My husband has been asking me for a 52" LCD TV as my father's day gift to him. It was next to impossible so he said a basketball would do! So we went to the mall, and he got his two balls.

During the mass when asked by the priest if is it really a "HAPPY" father's day, he whispered NO to me. I was sad, he explained, our daughter is sick and it isn't a happy father's day to see your only daughter crying all weekends long. He is right.

But i was happy with these photos i captured right in time when the blister gel and medicines have prove to be effective on our daughter's mouth blisters.

See my daughter smiling in spite of her numerous mouth blisters here..

And my semi naked husband with his balls. :)

Dear Husband,

We have been waiting to be parents for sometime before God finally grants our fervent wish. Now that we have Yena, you often say –the best things happen to those who wait. You said you found the best job, best wife (ahem) and the best daughter. But I know BEST refers to contentment you feel with all of the above, so I have to say I found the BEST in you too.

I have known you for so long, you are the sweetest and the scariest when provoked. I have to say I learn to embrace the whole package of you, am loving everything about you all the more each day. What I would like to say is that, I don’t have something to give you on father’s day so I hope you know what this letter means. Hahah

Advance Happy Father’s Day!

I love the father am seeing in you to our daughter.. And congrats you are doing very good! Yena and I love you soooo much!

My Husband's Blog

My husband was asking me if Yobib's Musings for his blog title fit him. I told him, it looked so girly or 'kikay' for a MAN to muse on something hahahah. He was asking for help on a new blog name so i gave him Pehpot's brilliant idea; Husband of a Blogging Addict. I am not that addicted to blogging yet, so i told him to change it to Husband of a Blogger and so he did.

But what makes me smile was what his profile says:

My wife is a blogging addict. We talk a lot, sometimes i wonder if she listens. But whatever it is, now is my turn to speak my mind. My blog will be my place in the world wide web teaming up with my wife's addiction. Partners for life! Hope she loves the idea, though.

Please hop on to his blog and tell me what do you think of him. We have been together for so long and i never imagined him to be a DEEP THINKER, if you consider his writings DEEP. Hahah. LOL

My Husband's New Undertaking

My husband can be an all around house boy on mother's day, a cook when i crave for his adobo, can do the laundry whenever i feel sick, can be the best nanny to our daughter but not a BLOGGER. He co authored on our Mushroom Blog months ago but decided to quit because i fired him! hahah. I have been asking him to try it out again for months, he said he is so occupied with work and would not like to add another untouched blog for decades in the internet.

But lo and behold! One day, as i tease him of how much i earned from my blogs, he told me he would like to give it a try! :) So help me in welcoming my husband to his new endeavor. Please visit his fresh from the oven blog named Yobib's Musings and tell me how he's been doing! :)

Lonely Nights

I don’t know if there was something wrong with my body temperature last night. Upon arriving home I was sweating out but I felt so cold inside. The house seems so lonely. I miss the laughter of my two precious playing while am preparing our dinner. And it was gloomy to eat alone. Without him I feel so empty.

Sleeping without my husband beside me was like sleeping half awake. It was the first night without him and tonight would be the last night. I just hope its Thursday already that I can sleep soundly like before. I miss someone hugging and embracing me, my feet seem missing its entwined partner too, and oh how my hands miss those broad shoulders to hug and would always dozed me off to sleep. But what I have to endure most are the two nights without his good night kiss. I miss my flirty husband so much. Oh how I wish its Thursday already.

Dinner at Jollibee for Husband's Birthday!

Since i do not know how to cook husband's favorite spaghetti the jollibee style YET. We decided to have his birthday dinner at jollibee and bring Yena for her quick play time.. She seems to adore jollibee so much cause everytime she hears 'jobeee' she is clapping and looking around trying to find the bee :)

Seems like asking mom at the play area; Do i really have to leave my slippers??

They bond while eating spaghetti! They have the same attention to that pasta.. i must learn to cook that in the future!

Yena Still looking around and pointing at every jollibee pictures she sees!

The pouting mother and child! LOL

Told you she adores jollibee, While saying goodbye she can't stop hugging and kissing the smiling bee! :)

My Husband's Slippers and My Very Sweet Daughter

Here is the little story. For many nights now, Yena has a habit of getting husband's slippers and slipping them into his feet.

That seems like an achievement for a proud mommy like me, so i told her to slip it slowly coz i am capturing it.. and she did it slowly.. :)

And the little story will end with a shower of hugs and kisses as a price for a very sweet daughter like her from daddy and mommy! ;)

What Do I Love About My Husband

This one's a tag that i wont be tired of doing all over and over again. I have been honest of being a brat to my husband all the time, though am not proud of it, am trying very hard to change. I have been very blessed having YObib as my husband, i know very much i am!

So this tag passed by my ever gorgeous friend and very happy wife Umma, is very much irresistible.. Oh i just love to do hubby tags! Thanks so much mare! You just started another virus just before the heart's day! Hahah.

I spent the whole morning reflecting on the things i love most about my husband. I know i can go on with my list but this ones got to do for the moment..

i love his being god-fearing, he prays longer than i do before going to bed, for him sunday mornings should be spent at church. it has been his silent rule to attend the mass every sunday by hook or by crook.

i love the way he surprises me every so often coz he knows it would make me very very happy

i love how he makes me feel i am his one and only queen everytime he cooks for me, prepares me food, peels mango for me and serves me my favorite watermelon! :)

i love him all the more coz he makes me feel so loved everyday with his little ways; the way he holds my hand while we walk, the way he stares at me at a crowded room, i love the way he makes me laugh, the way he introduces me to his friends, the way he flirts at me anytime and anywhere he feels like flirting! :D

i love the way he tames the bratty me, he let me be crazy over my moodiness for the moment and then embraces me back and tells me it's alright, with him i can be me!

i love him most when he do the laundry for me at weekends coz i seem so tired, when he ironed the clothes at saturday nights coz i was tending to yena. (If you're reading this baby, dont be pressured on doing the laundry tomorrow! hahah)

i love the crazy him when he dances half naked like a macho dancer in front of me when drunk or after taking a bath (i cant seem to stop laughing now, coz he can be anything else BUT not a dancer!! hahah)

i love the way he sings 'the way you look tonight' at videoke..and dedicate it later for me..

i love him when he is angry at something coz i can feel he is man enough and i can be submissive enough even for a moment. hahah

i love it when he told me he cant sleep without me at his side, so every night means we have to be entwined in each other's arms and then getting stiff neck right after! :)

i love his transformation from a playboy to a very loving and loyal husband - coz seeing how he takes care of me and yena makes me fly high and stay to cloud 9!

i love his being talkative, the way he confides his past deepest secrets, his aspirations and hopes for the family.. i just love the man that he is becoming all the more each day!

Now am passing this tag to the wives out there that are still and all the more head over heels inlove with their husbands:

Ria, Sheng, Kreez, Odette, Wendy, Rache, Shiela, Phoebe, and Beth!

I have the Sweeetest Husband on Earth!

I have been strangely craving this past few days. My all time favorite chocolate with almonds and green mango satisfied me the morning yesterday. But after eating egg sandwich which i have been longing for days too, i begun drooling over palabok.

So then i changed my yahoo messenger status to - craving for palabok :(. A little less than an hour after, i got a call from my husband asking me to go out and meet him at our lobby.

Lo and behold! He surprised me my palabok packed on a styro filled with squids, crab sticks, shrimps, fish balls and egg toppings! I wanted to jump for joy! I know, i know.. Am really a lucky wife! Isn't he the sweeeetest husband on earth? ;)

4AM Midnight Mass

Hubby and I went to simbang gabi (midnight mass) just before dawn this morning. Our first ever attendance to simbang gabi for this year. Our choir is scheduled for two rows to sing on that novena mass, so instead of nagging and begging hubby for a longer sleeping hours, I braced myself to take a shower. Oh boy, i cant stand cold weather, I felt like am a frozen chicken on the shower.. I just wanted to get through as soon as possible! Now that leads me to thinking, if there were snow here in the Philippines, what would I possibly look like?? LOL

Rushing not to be late on the mass proper, we walk and run to get to the church on time, and oh the joy of having a husband to embrace you while walking on a very cold street.. ;)

Not my first time to see people outside at 330AM and i wonder again; I don’t know if other churches are like ours, lots of people are lining up outside, lots of vendors and lots of different noises too! Fiesta atmosphere really it is! I wondered where did they get all the energy on that so early morning.. If it is not a mass, I wont be getting my butt up.. I miss sleeping already. Hahah

Oh well, that is all for today, coz it will be another simbang gabi tomorrow, it is a must once again to sleep and rise earlier, take a frozen bath, endure cold weather outside and sing my heart out! Wish me luck.. to take a bath! LOL

selling the drama

i want to share a secret. yobib and i had our greatest fight on our first christmas as a married couple. the reason, i already forgot now. but what made it big was my being so quiet. i was so overly sensitive, charge it to my pregnancy. i kept all my thoughts inside me while he likes to talk misunderstandings at once. and i hate to talk when i am mad. back then, we are two separate individuals, who does not like to meet halfway!

we made a scene, soap opera like. i packed my things and prepared to leave. he was mad too and carried my things away.. an unpleasant scene from a newly married couple on a christmas day. though no words were spoken, it still left a sad spot on my soul. i swear it wil never happen ever again! from then on, i will speak my mind - we will talk! i will voice out my feelings! my views will never be secret to him.

yobib is very vocal, he keeps no secrets from me and that includes his naughty escapades with girls in the past.. and i must say he played around nonstop before! (oooops that's another secret!) but then i learned something, i guess our being so open to each other helps to strengthen our relationship. we have our little misunderstandings now, but it will not last an hour.. we will talk, get back into each other arms smiling, forgiving, kissing and making up.

and yes, we sold the drama. though it does not make us rich, it gives us enough of something to keep us together. we swap the drama with talk.

Marriage Threat

first he woke me up with a rose and a letter which read - he wanted to marry me.. and take me away from hubby!

second how did he knew i love surprises? and red rose? and love letters?

third, does one true love really exists??

yes for the first, he woke me up with a rose and a letter coz hubby told him to
do so, a nephew would be so obedient to his uncle!

for second, i was sick that day and a surprise would definitely lift me up, one red rose could do magic!

and third, one true love was here, is here and will be here in my heart. and it is meant to stay forever!

Some Good Things Never Last

Absence makes the Heart Grow fonder? True!

My first day of work was supposedly an exciting one but it turned out totally different! I felt deep loneliness, I expected worst things will happen in my life. Going to work everyday without her by my side is a big struggle and a deep misery for me. Almost two years of being together going to work, eating breakfast, lunch and snacks and going back home, maybe these are the reasons why I felt that. Excess food would be save for wifey so that she had something to eat while going back home. Except for rushing home after office, the rest turned out to be different. This time, we no longer exchange emails, no more flirty chats and naughty senseless phone calls. Because of the distance and low technologies of my new work.. we miss each other so much.

Days were longer and nights were shorter, and how i would like to stretch night time for an extension of our cuddling time. These last few nights were so emotional because I kept on complaining about how my work and the office was, little did she know that the main reason was I'm missing her a lot and I want to be with her all the time.

Last Friday, we and my new officemates, dined out a Cuba. Knowing that chicken wings is my wifey's favorite, I didn't eat my share, i imagined her face upon another surprise food.. i wanted to bring it home for her. I was excited to go home. Excitement became worries when I saw her sad face. I felt so sorry and disappointed seing her that way. I can't give what she wanted and for not being the man she wanted me to be. I was still smiling though, I didn't want her to feel the bitterness I was feeling right then. I understand why she wanted to sleep apart or sleeping backward rather than cuddling each other.

I know that there's no one left to blame but me, I should have listened to her. For all the heartaches and hardships I have given her, I am deeply sorry. I wish that I still have some lucky charm left for me to go back to my former company to make things run better and our lives BACK to normal again. Please help me GOD.

Careful what you wish for!

Two years ago
- We would seat comfortably at the bus, cuddling, doing some PDA’s, talk a little nonsense things and fell asleep after
- Together we would eat breakfast and lunch, sneaked out anytime we want for a snack at 711 or ministop or mcdo or jollibee
- We would rush home after a day of work, hurry to Burgundy Tower, wait patiently for the bus while eating some peanuts
- All day, we tirelessly chat, exchange emails, talked silly things on the phone. (Ah, the wonders of modern technology)
- That even though we don’t have much, we have each other. Such a cliché, but true. Coz, we live from paycheck to paycheck, get paid by payday then pay bills and stuffs. And when the gasoline keeps on rocketing to sky high..
you wish to find a job nearer in our place, and that we can save more.

A little three days ago
- You excitedly get up, dressed up. It was your first day on your new job, a job that promises better pay.. high savings
- I was sad that first Monday, and you told me you felt the same. You fetched me and then I saw your eyes, I saw the saddest YOU i've ever seen
- I begged you to share you first day stories. You described how your computer was so old and looked like being bought some decades ago. It was so slow than our computer at home. That you wish it has LCD 17” flat screen monitor.
- That when you asked for a file and requested to send it to you, someone gave you a DISKETTE. LOL
- And then you learned that one person per department only had an ‘outlook’ or email which I concluded.
‘You don’t have internet access NOR microsoft outlook?’
- I laughed while seeing your new uniform, which I described as ice cream colored, and then you told me you were not proud wearing it.
- You told me, you weren’t happy. You made the wrong decision and that you want to come back. You said every minute of stay would make you weaker.. That fighting and holding on is beyond what you can do now.
- That there is MORE important than money.
That nobody can buy happiness!

Today
- I shall carry on, relive your
jobstreet account, keep crossing fingers and saying a prayer while sending your applications. We’re back to square one baby but I am not blaming you. We are partners in crime, comrade on war. And we’ll fight together on our every struggle head on, chin up! Cause we know that what ever happens and however hard it might be, we can do it!
