A Fun Weekend at SOM!

I always try my best to attend to all the reunions of my dear alma mater, the Sisters of Mary School (SOM). Me and my friends would often visit the place every March (Fr. Al's Death Anniversary) and August (The School's Foundation Day). Since Yobib and I became an item, we see to it to visit the place together. Now that we have Yena, we always bring her in tow.

Before, it's running after my batchmates/friends whom i haven't seen for a long time but this time it's running after Yena. ;)

And because Ate Sheng, who is based in Dubai and who was also a schoolmate, requested to see me and my daughter Yena, Off we went yesterday to finally meet her! Thanks for the chocolates and almonds ate sheng! :)

I will not be able meet awesome friends here if i didn't learn how to blog. I will not be blogging if I never saw his blog three years ago! Now all I have is nothing but gratitude to that man I fondly call LOLO, for guiding me through and making me fly on my own. He is my mentor in blogging, now I would like to learn from him on earning through adsense, and visit hongkong through adsense money someday just like him last father's day (with his family in tow, mind you!)! Teach me how! Pretty please.. :)

Cheeseburger!

I am still not feeling well now. Confused and sad still but lolo apol has ways of lifting me up. He promised me my cheeseburger! cheeseburger! that i have been begging him for dayssss (or has it been months already?!!). I know am that cheap, my emotion varies with little things. :D

A cheeseburger and a bonus french fries IF he wins in that prestigious Busby SEO Test Contest. I wish to join too, but it will be a stiff competition if i will be in, LOL. So i pray lolo will win thus i'll have my share of that $5000. Best of luck to you lo! ;)

i knew we played a long time ago

once upon a time, i played basketball at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila or PLM. i played for college of business administration and during that time naging playmate ko si Kreez, her husband now was our coach Junfer then. magaling silang dalawa, parang tag team. kaya di nakapagtataka na happily ever ang buhay nila ngayon sa Amsterdam.

i must admit, im a lousy player. feeling ko nga sumali lang ako para may makasama lagi sa practice ang mga friends kong sina MheAnne at Ryan or pamparami lang ng players or taga takbo ng bola kasi nga medyo maliksi at mabilis pa ako tumakbo noon. di rin ako magaling magshoot ng bola at makulit pa kong maglaro. kaloka.

malabo na ang memory ko ngayon, but what i can never forget is that small but terrible girl na nakalaban namen from college of engineering.

super liksi, magaling humawak ng bola (sounds familiar kasi halos lahat ng galing ng som parepareho ang style sa pagdribol), maliksi at higit sa lahat magaling magshoot. i can recall her jersey, ang name nagsisimula sa B. other than that, blurry na memory ko. eh kung alam ko lang na som grad siya while we're playing basketball noon, di sana ako nagdalawang isip na siniko at binalya siya! :) heheh (as if naman malaki ng katawan ko to do that!)

graduate nga siya ng sisters of mary, sabi ko na nga ba eh. 7th batch siya, 9th batch naman ako. the way she played basketball, looks family talaga! :D siguro nagkakasalubong kami sa campus ng SOM pero never got a chance to know each other noong mga estudyante pa kami, kaya sa alumni gatherings na lang kami nagkakilala..

and then one fine day, upon reading her blog and learning na PLM din siya. di ko na napigil magtanong kung siya ba yun.. at siya nga!

at ikaw nga yun Ate Binx ! and this post is for you. at bawi ko na rin dahil hindi tayo nagkita nung sunday sa SOM, sad kasi di rin kayo nakapagbonding ni Yena. picture picture pa sana ulets.. ;)

We went to your wedding

I dont know pero everytime i attend a wedding, i am in mixed emotion. Wedding is a happy- tearfully happy event for me. It is and always joyous everytime im on a wedding! The atmosphere is really different, parang pasko, iba ang simoy ng hangin. Masaya ang mga tao. You will see everybody smiling. Minsan nga yung mother of the bride umiiyak habang tumatawa.. Kasi nga LOVE is in the air!

Daryl's wedding was a little bit emotional for me - i kept it to myself, hubby kasi malakas mang asar.. Naiiyak ako kasi it brings back the 14 years i've known her, or the years we've known each other. La lang, emotional kasi ako. But i'm so glad she is with Jason! And i cant stop myself teasing her and her sweet surrender to the man, she gave her sweetest YES..

I know happy endings are only on fairytale land but their's i hope and wish will be just like their ending. Upon closing the end chapter of the book the narrator would say.. and they live happily ever after! ;)

Oh what a sweet surrender

Jason, Daryl's fiance, is arriving anytime now from Taiwan. The lovers will tie the knot on August 9. Jason got a 15 days vacation leave from Taiwan just to get married to Daryl. After the wedding? Jason is off to Taiwan again! Waaaaaah.

Well, i am telling this, cause i wanted to say that love is so mysterious, it can move people's hearts. And if two people are really meant to be, they will be together no matter what road they take!

Daryl was distant to her suitors, that including Jason! On my first mountaneering adventure with some of SOM alumni almost two years ago in Majayjay Laguna, Hubby and i kept on teasing very cold Daryl to that ever smiling face Jason.

Daryl was very remote, she did not even want to have picture taken NEAR Jason!! And how Jason played along with us on this picture taking session, it was a game of -- Him from farthest end until reaching Her.. :) In these pictures, Jason on blue shirt and Daryl in pink top.

Well, i dont want to sound like a chikka minute here, i am just overwhelmed with happiness to these two people closest in my heart. Daryl being my friend for 14 years, and hubby's all time favorite from all of my friends..

Daryl, who is always there for me, the one that i can count on to anytime anywhere, who without a doubt is one my truest friend on earth. I just cant help from crying. Tears of joy, because i know she will be happy with Jason, whom she loves and who will love her all the more. I just wish them all the best in this world!

for my Lolo's birthday

birthday ng lolo ko sa monday, July 7. at dahil ulyanin ako ng highest level i made this post in advance for him. i will no disclose his age kasi baka ayaw niya ipaalam sa blogging world. kaya kung usapang "wala kayo sa lolo ko", bibida na ko.

wala kayo sa lolo ko. . .

1. isa siyang active blogger at di ko na mabilang ang minimaintain niyang blog sites ngayon..
2. siya ang aking mentor sa blogging world, after reading his blog, antimano* gumawa ako ng sarili kong blog! (*antimano- hiram ko lang sa napakaraming expression ng asawa ko, in english right after, tama ba baby?:p)
3. after seeing my template, he suggested na mamili ako sa mga templates ni ate sienna sa manilena kasi mas marami raw maganda at unique na templates dun, iwan lang ako ng message kay ate sienna kung may napili na ko, wag daw ako mag alala, mabait si ate sienna, at kapatid siya ni smokey manaloto! true enough, baet talaga si ate sienna at etong template na gamit ko ay galing sa kanya, at dahil bago ako sa blogging world, my beri baet lolo did it all for me! from the smallest details siya ang may kagagawan nito.. galing noh? :)
4. ang lolo ko ay may beri adorable cutey kid na si pia na nauna pang nagkablog saken! sabi nga nila, any man can be a father. it takes someone special to be a dad. and he is that uber special, kasi he is and he will always be a good daddy to his pia.
5. ang lolo ko ay member ng blogkadahan na binubuo ng mga witty at sensible bloggers from all over the continent tulad nina ate sienna at uncle batjay. it was like travelling and learning at the same time when you're on that site. promise.
6. ang lolo ko ay nagtatrabaho bilang consultant pwede niyo siyang maging gateway to canada! true! click this.
7. ang lolo ko ay batangueno, at kung ikaw ay galing rin sa lahi ng mga expert sa balisong, click here at ikaw na lang ang hinihintay nila!
8. ang aking lolo ay may lahing andres bonifacio, estudyante pa lang siya sa pcu ay isa na siyang tibak. fave shout outs niya? GMA Resign! i guess until his last breath di na magbabago un. :)
9. mahilig mag mountain climbing ang lolo ko, kasama ang mga kasambahay at mga alumni ng sisters of mary school. opo, sisiw pa sa kanya ang umakyat ng bundok.. di pa naman siya ganun katanda. :D LOL
10. ang lolo ko at ako ay hindi related by blood (sa tubig lang!hihi). but i know him that much (if not that well!) kasi nga may isang tao na nagbubuklod sa amin, sa aming lahat na galing sa sisters of mary school, ang aming ama, founder and soon to be saint na si Fr. Al.

ang larawang ito ay kuha noong august 2006, in celebration of the sister's of mary school foundation day, dalaga pa ako at wala pang pinuproblemang postpartum tummy. hahah heheh LOL :D

i'm good! i've just read your blog, di ko pa tapos basahin but i find it real fun, interesting and what else i'm updated for some upcoming matrimonial event heheh!

Andy is a friend of mine and Daryl from the Sisters of Mary School o SOM ang tawag minsan. Where me and Daryl graduated highschool. Buddy buddy ko sila nung first yearl. Napapansin ko, lagi kong katropa magaganda. Dahil puro kami babae, si Andy ang muse at si Daryl naman ang escort sa dorm namen, tapos ako member ng choir (walang connect sa pagandahan), LOL! Pero dahil choir ako, feeling feelingan maganda na rin ako.. LOL :D

Sa SOM, 2 weeks lang ang vacation namen every year. That's the only time na makakasama namen ang family at maiexperience ang mundo. Sa loob ng school, panalo, masarap ang buhay.. study, pray, work and play buong taon sa loob ng apat na taon! Problema nga lang namen dati pag may exam o ulam na pipino sa tanghalian.. :)

After ng bakasyon namen nung first year, bigla na lang nawala si Andy. We learned na bumalik na sya sa Bulacan.. and so that's it.

After so many years, heto kami nagkukumustahan na lang sa email.. and iba na ang topic ngayon?! Nakakatuwa talaga how time flies so fast, dati pinag uusapan, kursong kinukuha, saan nagtatrabaho, sino ang boylet nino. Ngayon ang topic na kasalan, mga anak at asawa.. I wonder what will be the next topic? Mga apo kaya?? LOL

Noong junior high (part II)

GAH o Grand Alumni Homecoming namin noong March 18, 2007. Twice a year akong nai-excite na bumalik sa aking mahal na alma mater ang Sisters of Mary School. Sobrang excitement dahil sa wakas makikita ko na naman ang aking mga dating kaklase, dating kadormates at dating kalaro ng basketball at chinese garter! Nine years na pala kaming graduates at heto na kami ngayon..

Kasama sa picture ang mga fafa namen na sina Paul (yung nkablue sa likod ng nkablack), si Jason (yung nkapink na mukang padre de familia sa tatlong nkapink) at si Yobib (yung nasa likuran nung nkagreen! wait, ako yun ah! LOL)

Naging masaya naman kami lalo na sa mga comments na medyo nakakataba ng face este ng puso.. kasi naman lahat ng makakita samen ni Daryl aka melon nagsasabing tumaba kami at naging blooming.. mas nkkataba ng puso ang mga nagsabing mas mataba ang muka ni daryl at mas malaki ang tyan sa ken! eh totoo naman noh?!

Hahahah. Di ko mapigil tumawa tuwing maririnig ko ang "ayipin" version ni drew at jason sa kantang "alipin' ng shamrock. ang kulet nila! ang sayang kasama! until now, ayan pa rin ang kumikiliti sa utak ko, heheh. funny tlga!!

at least, i will have something (GREAT) on my mind this week.. maisip ko lang ang saya ng akyat (???) namen.. nabubuhay ang natutulog kong dugo! heheheh.

now, narealize ko kung baket maraming sumasama sa akyat (hiking).. kya naman pala parang bisyo na nila to! pede ko ring gawing bisyo to, nakakaadik pala. nkkahigh ng pakiramdam.. lalo na at ganun kaganda ang place na pupuntahan. kahit pauyet uyet este paulet ulet.. aakyat ako paye este pare! :)

napakalinis at napakalamig ng tubig sa falls na parang may yelo, dabest ang lasa! (uminom tlga ako dear, masarap pa sa mineral water) nkakatuwa dahil first time ko rin mag overnight sa ganung place.. one night with nature! uh, great!

and last, napakasaya po ng mga kasama.. dabest talaga ang bonding ng mga SOM graduates! la na ko maSAY! bow po ako. pag ok sa sked ko, sama ako uyet este ulet! pramis.

Noong junior high..

Nakwento ko na ba? Nag aral ako sa madre ng apat na taon that is nung high school po ako, ala princess sara pero mas masaya pa dun ang story namen! That would be another story, my dear. For now, show ko muna mga pictures namen noong 21st Foundation Day ng aking mahal na alma mater, Sisters of Mary.


Walong taon na kami dito sa 'labas'.. at walong taon na rin nga palang nakaputi si Sr. Mau. Nakakatuwang makita na may nagmadre sa batch namen, 'worst batch daw'.. sabi lang nila yun! :) Tuwing nakikita ko si Sr. Mau naaalala ko appendix ko! 3rd year hayskul kami ng pumutok yun at birthday niya naman! Coaccidence! hahahah. Natanong ko kung masaya ang buhay sa 'loob'.. peaceful at calm kasi ang mukha niya, ganun tlaga siguro pag nasa tamang daan ang buhay.. Sana ganun din ang aura ko!


After sa Silang, inaya kami ng ilang kaibigan na pumunta ng Leslies Tagaytay. Dabest ang place, tamang tama sa mga mag sing irog lalo na pagpalubog na ang araw.. Sarap ng pagkain, chempre pa di pedeng walang calamares!! i love calamares!! heheheh. Sayang kung kumakain sana ako ng baka, di ko titigilan ang bulalo, ang sarap ng sabaw!


At ang pinakamasaya, sa wakas may picture na kming magkasama ng aking si lolo apol! LOL
