Luckiest!

I started the day with lots of cramming and stress and most especially prayers. The cramming and stress came after i read the message from my fave advertiser in the blogniverse - the message boils down to transferring to wordpress, leave my comfort zone blogger.com and have my own hosting.

and then I pray i could transfer my two new blogger blogs to wordpress (these are the two blogs am planning to add to the system) and the problem is that - i don't know where to start.

Until i buzzed two blogging friends over yahoo messenger who helped me with the transfers, designs etc etc. Now my food blog is under wordpress and has its own hosting. Ok, the host is the most recommended webhosting site so i shelled out my budgeted penny for that but no regrets. I LOVE the new look of my Plate and Me blog!

and i feel i am the luckiest blogger on earth to have friends like them who are always there when i need a hand.. Thanks much Kaye and Sam!

Meet Real Friends Online

I met a wonderful person online last two years ago. After a few months of being friends through our blogs, she gave me a laptop on my birthday. The laptop I am now using to somehow earn online. She is always by my side not only financially but emotionally. We can chat whole day sharing about everything under the sun. She is such a darling.

On my birthday the next year, she sent me a branded Bag! And when she went here for a short vacation last march, she gave me and my husband a branded wallet, my little daughter, her goddaughter, lots of fashionable clothes. And brought us to Subic and Batangas for a one whole week all-expense-paid vacation!

And we met ONLY online!

Not in popular casinos in Vegas, to which she and her husband frequents if they need to unwind. (no, they don't play in the casino, they are just happy watching the players though!)

Not in Disneyland.

Not in first class Hotels.

You can meet REAL friends online too just by being yourself. You can meet the greatest friend you could ever have in your life time. I gained lots of wonderful friends online and I have to tell you that they are all REAL! (They are not wonderful because they shower me gifts there and then, ahem, that should be clear. Seiko's lovely daughter Misaki and her fiance tied the knot before the sun sets at the clubhouse of Portofino in Alabang last Saturday. Since Yena and i arrived very early at the venue we had the time to roam around the place and took lotsa photos. Husband wasn’t able to join us because of the wrong timing, pigsa on his legs.


It was our first time to meet Seiko in person, it was so great to see her up-close. Gorgeous!

Tell me where to start. ^_^ Am not used to writing to you, it feels so awkward, lol. We have yahoo messenger for all our endless talks but because today is your special day, at least let me try...

First, i'd like to thank you for swimming with the 'lady in red' in Acuatico during night time. I love our vacation not because of the places but because of the company (you, nancy and ghie). I had a great time laughing, swimming, eating and drinking with you. I miss your "rabbit" pose and the albino girl, lol. Second, i'd like to thank you and Nancy for teaching me how to drink margarita in the afternoon, lol. Lastly, i'd like to thank you for being you. For trusting me your 'secrets', matters of the heart and what nots. I found a great friend in you ganda. Hope you don't change - stay as uber sexy and sweet as you are, or yes please, change your surname soon! I can' wait to hear the wedding bells already, lol.

Day 3 of Grand Vacay: Acuatico Beach Resort Batangas

We had our best 3 days and 2 nights stay at Acuatico Beach Resort in San Juan Batangas. So for the next entries expect lots of happy faces and be drowned with all our pictures ^_^ For Day 1, we said goodbye first to Makati Shangrila by posing on their pool side, lol.

It was 4 hours drive to San Juan Batangas, at past 2pm we were so happy to finally see the infinity pool.. the whole of Acuatico. Love the place so much!

Day 2 of Grand Vacay: Subic

Nancy told me to bring along my sister and her kids to Subic for our one day trip to Ocean Adventure and Zoobic Safari. It was a blast at Ocean Adventure, we arrived at the place by 10am in time for the sea lion mini show. Watched the walk on the wild side show, had lunch then head to the Dolphin show. We had so much fun watching the dolphins, i think that's the highlight of our Ocean Adventure trip.

We were done at 130pm at Ocean Adventure and head to Zoobic safari. We had a visit to their zoo's (oh my there were a lot of them animals i cannot recall now since Yena has been acting up already because it was sooo hot)

They were not scared posing in front of the snakes (while nancy kat and i were screaming already, lol) The kids had their dolphin stuff toys are souvenir from Ocean Adventure courtesy of Mommy Umma ^_^

last shot at zoobic safari, we had some pictures at the train when we fed the tiger BUT i haven't scanned it yet, sowee.

Since it was really hot that day, we cut short our trip to Zoobic Safari to 3pm only. We missed the 5 more must-see places but we think we're done. There is still next time. Atleast now i know you can't have enough time to visit the two beautiful places in one day.

Day 1 of Grand Vacay: Makati

We fetch Nancy and YL Monday morning last week and that's the start of our grand vacation. Kat flew from Davao Sunday morning. So Yena, Kat and I braced the morning traffic in going to the airport - so excited to finally meet Nancy for the first time!

PBW: Too Blessed

We've been to our grandest (all expense paid) vacation ever last week. I am having a hard time posting all the pics from Ocean Adventure and Zoobic Safari in Subic and Acuatico in Batangas. I am sorting them now and will try to blog about them when i find time. For now, here are some of the pictures i got from last weekend.
