My First Nuffnang Event

Watched the premiere of SALT last night at Greenbelt 3 courtesy of Nuffnang and Heaven icecream. My first ever attendance to a nuffnang event! The nuffnang staffs are all friendly, very very friendly I must say. Thanks so much nuffnang!

I forgot to kiss the ground and wished for another movie premiere! LOL But pehpot said nuffnang is cooking lots of premiere invites soon, so what’s left for me to do? That I will be able to get the notification email at earlier time rather than 7pm, ohhh email blast! ^_^

Anyways, since I was so excited I arrived at Greenbelt 3 an hour before the premiere and was able to chat with my highschool friends from SOM, who are also fellow bloggers/mentors.

PBW: Beautiful Wedding in June

Seiko's lovely daughter Misaki and her fiance tied the knot before the sun sets at the clubhouse of Portofino in Alabang last Saturday. Since Yena and i arrived very early at the venue we had the time to roam around the place and took lotsa photos. Husband wasn’t able to join us because of the wrong timing, pigsa on his legs.

It was our first time to meet Seiko in person, it was so great to see her up-close. Gorgeous!

Yena and the mother of the bride, Seiko, the blogger behind Seiko's Diary.

PBW: Good Health and Happiness

Happy Monday! I am putting up a happy face now to start the week right. Last weekend, husband and i got back to jogging and woke up early than our usual weekends. I guess we have to do it every saturday, waking up early means finishing all the house chores early too and i love it. I got more time to do my online stuffs.

Anyways that's husband resting a bit.. He is really serious with his exercises now.. ^_^
And me, resting a lot! Well, my only problem is my tummy and jogging is much easier than sit-ups, hihi
And yesterday, the most important woman in my life turns SWEET SIXTY! That's my mother with her 3 grandchildren. For my mother: wish you good health, long life and happiness.

PBW: Easy Weekend with Yena

Since it was holiday last friday, our weekend starts last Thursday. I brought Yena at work for two reasons, first, there was noone to look after her since my mother had a very important matter to attend to and second, i promised to bring her to Acquatica, the newest and freshest attraction at Manila Ocean Park.

I imagined a terrible day with her at work - tantrums and tugging me to go home BUT i was wrong. She was so behaved the whole day she was with me basically because of Laplap. She was watching her CDs while i was working.

Yena and her Laplap ^_^

After Lunch, while watching her Blues Clues she fell asleep..
and slept from 1pm at 4pm! She feels at home at my office, lol

At 7pm, we watched the 30 minutes sniff preview of Acquatica and she had so much FUN!
Japan Pose at Acquatica

Because we were both so dead tired the whole thursday, we spent friday until sunday at HOME! (But got time to visit the mall to pass the time but that's another story, teehee).

Day 2 of Grand Vacay: Subic

Nancy told me to bring along my sister and her kids to Subic for our one day trip to Ocean Adventure and Zoobic Safari. It was a blast at Ocean Adventure, we arrived at the place by 10am in time for the sea lion mini show. Watched the walk on the wild side show, had lunch then head to the Dolphin show. We had so much fun watching the dolphins, i think that's the highlight of our Ocean Adventure trip.

Look at their faces...
so amazed at the dolphin show ^_^
We were done at 130pm at Ocean Adventure and head to Zoobic safari. We had a visit to their zoo's (oh my there were a lot of them animals i cannot recall now since Yena has been acting up already because it was sooo hot)
They were not scared posing in front of the snakes (while nancy kat and i were screaming already, lol) The kids had their dolphin stuff toys are souvenir from Ocean Adventure courtesy of Mommy Umma ^_^
last shot at zoobic safari, we had some pictures at the train when we fed the tiger BUT i haven't scanned it yet, sowee.

Since it was really hot that day, we cut short our trip to Zoobic Safari to 3pm only. We missed the 5 more must-see places but we think we're done. There is still next time. Atleast now i know you can't have enough time to visit the two beautiful places in one day.

Will be posting the Acuatico pictures from Day 3 to 5 soon. Are you excited? ^_^

PBW: Hotdogs and Cars Weekend

My body is sore since last weekend - the main reason why i wasn't able to visit my alma mater and pay a visit to Fr. Al - i am still feeling sick while typing this. sigh . I wonder what we did until husband remind me that i carried Yena on our whole stay at the mall and on our way to his dental appointment. Yena is such a happy baby but when hungry she can be really scary. She would not stop crying but when she saw the hotdog and stick station - she behaved in an instant. She had two hotdogs in one sitting by the way.She knows how to ask for a pink bike or a pink car now from husband and I. I guess i have to prepare myself for another contest and try hard to win so i can bring this pink car home. LOLToday is her 26th month by the way. My Yena is growing up so fast, it seems like i can't up with her antics already!

PBW: Yena's First Love

Last Friday, I promised my daughter I will bring her to Jollibee the next day. She loves Jollibee so much - i think that bee is her first love - weeeh. Now she knows how to ask me to bring her to Jobee or MM (that's SM to her!). So last Saturday, after husband’s deferred dental checkup we went to SM and visit Jollibee.

The biggest fan of Jollibee is very happy! Look! The mother and child were all smiles ^_^Look she was jumping!!Look at that smile?! PRICELESS!
Last Sunday, we went to Baclaran and guess what? Dropped by at Jollibee again! The three kids had fun – just bring them to Jollibee and everything will be ok.Her full of gratitude smile last night.
Two days of visiting your first love will make you smile widely, i guess so! Jollibee on weekends? Wish granted!

Pixel Bug Weekend: Mid November

Photobucket
It's my very first entry for Pixel Bug Weekend. Actually last weekend i have been capturing everything like crazy :) I brought my cami last saturday so after Yena's pedia visit we spent the afternoon bonding at the mall.

How i wish i can have this nice christmas tree.. but where will i put this nice tree just in case?? It will be inside the house and we will sleep out.. LOL
But i can have this Big Santa and put this outside of the house.. I worry though our little puppy might make this his early lunch :D So no, thank you..
So strange coz last weekend, we bought a little something for ourselves, hahah. We usually window shop when we're at the mall.. Yena was modeling the free BNY bag i got from buying a BNY checkered top..
She got her 5 minutes ride with this cute ride, she loves riding this one when we're at the mall. She cries after her 5 minutes turn is up.
So how was your weekend? Yes, what made you busy aside from watching FIREPOWER Pacquio vs Cotto?

Two Very Wonderful Years

Day 3 at Coron

For the two readers who are following my Coron stories, here's the tear-jerking final piece! I know you have been wanting me to post my coron experience daily but i have been scheduling my posts and i am taking blogging slowly. So i am updating my blog every two days, forgive me please. I cannot handle another pressure on my blog. :)

So this was our last breakfast at Krystal Lodge. After filling up our stomach at past 7, we all hurried to pack all our things. Our bangkero will fetch us at 8am sharp and will send us to airport. Travel time from Coron to Busuanga takes more than an hour. Our flight back to manila was scheduled at 1040am.
So upon arriving at the airport before 10am, we started taking pictures one last time. That's my daughter posing.. We were all getting ready to bid goodbye to the magnificent place that welcomed us (without a choice!) for three wonderful days..
Anyways, our energy level was so high it can reach the moon until we learned that our flight back to manila was rescheduled at 355pm. We have all praises to Zest Air until that very moment. We could have roamed the town proper or just stayed at our lodge longer if we have known that our flight was rescheduled!

What's left for us to do was to watch two movies while killing the time, bringing my laptop nancy has its purpose actually! And since we will be taking lunch in between and without any choice left we ate at the nearby canteen near the airport. OMG, i can almost hear myself talking to my soul crying out loud: why on earth everything is expensive in Coron?! One cup of rice is worth Php20.00!
After lunch, while some of the girls are watching movie and my husband and daughter were quite contented playing 'horsie' I busied myself capturing Coron airport on the remaining hours of our stay. It wasn't easy to wait almost six long hours at the airport.. That was unbearable.. oh am just exaggerating!! :)
But i have to congratulate myself for not engaging into a stand-up fight between the Zest Air people. It's just a matter of control actually, and it's hard! Maybe i'd like to ask them for a refund of our very expensive lunch or another trip back to Coron to compensate the six hours BUT i kept my cool and am glad i did! :)
So finally we're back in Manila and all aglow! Our Coron getaway is only the start of our travel stories! We will be going to Camarines Sur or Camiguin next year! (Calling Katrina, plan quickly please)

How about you? Join us! The more the merrier.. Taralets! Let's travel Pinas! Now na.. :)
