I don't deserve it..

Graduated from MySQL Training last night. Top 3.
And i really feel i don't deserve it. But am thankful for the USB flash drive as token! :)

I enjoyed the training so much. The fact that the schedule of training was from 5-8pm made me unhappy at first. Meaning for those training nights, husband and i arrived home 10pm. It has been the most tiring days of my life so far :) (ok, that is exaggerated hihih)

But for the latter part, i felt i lost the interest. Programming language was not my forte after all, so i really wander from my seat! So if there has been an actual exam i know i will fail! hahahah. So for someone who would ask me about that programming language now, i know i can share something worth a cent but not a peso, i hope you get what i mean.

Anyway, i got the top 3 for two reasons. First, i was the third to pass by email our take home exercises (thanks to my officemate who helped me do it, i really think he deserves it more than i) and; second, i completed the 30 hours of training! hahah

The Center of Distraction

My officemate Beng, who is the famous author of Entertainment Spree, forwarded this to me. This picture was taken last Christmas 2008. The group behind me are some of the Finance people in our company, i was wondering why are they looking at me!

I was kinda hesitant to post it coz Beng's camera caught me in a very compromising situation, but am glad i did! Am actually laughing at myself now! LOL

though i must admit that i am introvert at times, with food at my table I think i am extrovert. just before my area picture taking an officemate took my peanuts away.. and my knick knacks choco on choco got lost just after taking my break.. i cant get enough of sweets at office, that is my weakness. Got no Picture for this one! :(

i have a little sto nino at the top of my CPU, an all time reminder of my faith. also, i would only reveal it here now, i have a lavender high heels shoe beside it, also a reminder that i can be taller / higher if i set my best foot into what i love doing!

i have the picture of me and husband at the front of my computer, a reminder of our love?! LOL and our daughter's picture at my desktop as a wallpaper.. hope it says enough that i love my family!

i was 7 months heavy with my yena then and i was so eager to have a picture with them! i was not scared at all, i love their looks!

i have not experienced dressing for a halloween party, but i guess it will be nice coz there will be no need for makeups or special effects, i already look scary - - ask husband!! :D

Working with Eastern Communications

I have been wanting to post a picture of me on working mode! But here's what i got. Sorry i wasn't working here. It was taken after a mouth-watering lunch for a Boss birthday, you see we're all smiles! I'm good at forgeting about diet! There will always be 'next time' for that one. :)

And because i am not yet given a chance to work with Microsoft, i am embracing every moment of stay at my beloved company here at Makati!

Well for me: Marriage is a compromise, it is about drinking beer with your husband even when you dont like it! :p

My husband is alcoholic, nah im just kidding. As much as he is a good husband, he is an obedient one too. Here's a little story. You see, sometime last month, i allowed him to drink (alcohol) on weekends ONLY WHEN there is an occassion. BUT i noticed that every weekend, there gone one celebration to another like a birthday of someone, anniversary of another, their dog Via was expecting (can you imagine!) and when that pity dog got miscarriage. All these they celebrated with a BRANDY!

As they say, when you cannot stop them, join them. And so there i had some drink with him! Kidding. Im no saint, i admit i got drunk in the past too. But i really appreciate its bitter taste when im into a bitter situation. But when it's weekly, OMG!?!

And before you conclude, i have to reveal now that, that picture was from my ex boss despidida party at Giligans a month ago and each of us got a bottle of beer. :)

Losing my Connection

Ive been blogging, blog hopping, internet browsing here at work. Lately ive been busy dropping EC cards while working. Talking about serving two masters at the same time! I know i can make last minute reports i told myself.

Yesterday, my supervisor, also a confidant slash friend of mine whispered that i would be nearing to go to HR (Human Resources). As if it shook a bone out of me, but because i am an obedient citizen of this world (waaaah) hesitantly i closed all windows slash blogs ive been reading to. Worked my ass and resorted to music. Music! At that moment I chose Martin Nievera’s song, I don’t want you to go. It almost made me cry. But I wander.

Ok. Back to the story, I texted hubby pronto, please for the love of me and for our love of blogging, please let us install our computer at home an internet connection. To which he replied, i would think about it first. Grrrr. After all this time he is still thinking about it! My tantrums would get me nowhere i know. So I got no choice but to again, Sigh.

I happen to work in one of the oldest telephone company here in the Philippines, suffice to say we cater internet access etal to our customers. I can only sigh again why it does not go far beyond boundaries to remote provinces in the Philippines.

If only our Eastern Internet Access that is way better than the congested lines of SmartBro could reach our far away land of Cavite. Sigh.

things i cant leave home without, then

i'm not myself today. i know i'm ulyanin lately but i hate it big this time. its because i forgot to wear my wrist watch, wedding ring, engagement ring and bracelet. sound materialistic er? but noh, they dont worth thousands i tell you..

it's just that they were the things i hate leaving at home, aside from cellphone, purse and my pearl earrings. that former worth two hundred thousand pesos! relax, im just kidding.

kidding aside. i prefer wearing all of them because they were all given by hubby. that 8 colored wrist watch was surprisely given on one of our monthsaries. the earrings and swarovsky bracelets he bought from my officemate jeweler (jeweler talaga- ang sozy pakinggan!), my marquis cut engagement ring from mondragon house which was on sale when he bought it (i should know! that one was not a surprise, hahah) and our precious wedding ring from binondo! (proud talaga! hihi) see, they do not worth thousands of pesos but i value them so so much! yes, sentimental value. im fool of sentiments or full of sentiments, whatever you prefer calling me.

and here i am now, going back at home and realizes that the things i cant leave home without are not with me the whole day. it's does not hurt nor does it cause me any pain. i know, it was only in the mind.

i was on training this morning for our epayroll system and because im not into doing anything useful i didnt bother listen. downfall was, after the training they gave us 2 quizzes. hahahah. good thing i did some payroll before and that i did not fail any of the two.. sign of good luck?! no, it's just hard work and lots of prayer! hahah

because i'm now a nanay, mommy, ina, inay, momsy, mamita, whatever you call it - yes, i am a new mother to a healthy bouncing baby girl and so i am one of the few featured mommy on our website! i'm proud! clap talaga ako nung una kong nakita.. thanks Eastern! ;)

one HOT mama!

Got a call from an officemate who happen to be updating our website today. She's asking for a picture of me and Yena and i excitedly ask why? She will be posting it on our website daw! and so the super busy me, ignore the work for a minute and search for a picture... and boila i forwarded her not just one but three! im such a proud hot momma really!

I tell her to just pick one for me! I cant wait to see that HOT item on the web of the telecommunications company that is 130 years old and counting!

a month after not blogging

ive been lazy sleeping this past few days.. hihi wish ko lang. tinatamad lang tlaga mag update ng blog.. forgive the preggy me for being so tamad to kiss and tell lately.. tsk tsk

26th berdey
hayun, natapos ang birthday ko at natanggap ang regalong inaasam asam ko (count now 1-2-3.. portable dvd!!) in my dreams!! hihih

i celebrated my birthday with college friends who dropped by and spent an evening with me and hubby. and the official cook, opkors my one and only.. hmmm yummmmy ang special spaghetti!! at ang best seller na fried chicken!! not to mention yung lechon paksiw na so delicious tlga even until the next day.. haaaay. so sweet of him to cooked for me on my birthday! i love u more for that my baby! ;) more than the portable dvd im asking you, you and yena are the greatest gifts na po kaya i'm fine.. my dvd can wait naman diba, u said so! hahah

sad ang end of november, si papa ni yobib at ang nanay ko ay halos sabay na naospital. si papa sa lasalleUMC at si nanay sa PGH. parehong sobrang taas ng blood pressure.. haaay. still pag health problem talga nakakasad.. i just hope and pray for good health tlaga for my big (mine and yobib's) family and sa small family namen ni yobib..

company christmas party
last night, christmas party namen.. at sosyal 5 years ago nang nagkaron ng company wide party ang eastern ha! kya naman chochyal tlga ang feeling ngayon.. masaya at masaya in all.. :)

as usual hindi ako swerte sa mga raffle.. pero may pamaskong handog naman kaya hapi pa rin.. solve na ang gamot ng mga lolo at lola ni yena.. ;)

kahapon rin before magparty dumaan ako sa OB ko, and she told me na malapit na ko.. waaaaah isang buwan, im scared na po. aray ko. masakit daw manganak.. at the same time im so excited na rin.. sa wakas makikita na namen si yena.. :) :) :)
