PBW: In Your Eyes

Yena had sore eyes last sunday, by monday i got it and was not able to go to work since then. By thursday the husband got the bacteria too. So we had a mini-vacation at home - all the three of us. We were only able to go out of the house last saturday night for the choir's practice and sunday for the mass.
see?! no more sore eyes! :)

Wont be passing the sore eyes to you guyz peace!
And by noon sunday, me and some girlfriends went to the cinema to watch In Your Eyes.
In Your Eyes rate for me is 7/10
Ok, for the rate of 7/10 i think In Your Eyes is a good  film but i suddenly miss John Lloyd or Bea's acting since those two actors would certainly pull my feet to the cinema. Richard, Anne and Claudine are different actors i know but i have saw them on their best performances in the past so I expected a lot and i thought i would cry - but we i did not.

Girlfriends and I after watching In Your Eyes
Hey it isn't only me. My girlfriends said that they miss JL and Bea too. That kind of drama was what we were looking for yesterday, actually. But this is still nice to watch with girlfriends. We had fun! :)

Dear Dora,

I have been wanting to thank you for all the time that i can blog while you keep my daughter's company. You are her first favorite. I know you get jealous now when she has been asking for Elmo or Jollibee - but you know that you are her first love.

From the bottom of my heart thank you. Through good times and bad times you are there - most especially this week when we cannot go out of the house because of sore eyes. Now that husband catch the virus too, can you please go to the mountain through the cave and dance your way to the fountain to get the cure for this? Of course i am just kidding. ^_^

Thank you Dora! You always make my Yena very happy just by seeing you on her laplap. You are the best Dora. Thank you so much..

And have a happy happy birthday! Kisses from all of us here (hope you won't catch our virus! yay)

Custom Poker Tables: How Some Purchases Benefit Your Whole Family

How many times has your husband come home from a typical "guys night out," and wanted to make some sort of purchase? Is there always one of his friends that has this "great new thing, " and he just has to have it? The way men show off their new toys to their friends can be humorous, but it can also get expensive. If you have any type of household budget, you typically dread these types of conversations when your husband comes home. However, that doesn't have to be the case. If you start considering how your husband's new toy will benefit the entire family, you may be surprised to find that it's actually a good idea.

The new way of thinking can even bring your family hours of fun. For example, custom poker tables can be used for family game night. You don't have to use the table only for poker. Instead, get your kids and your husband together, place the game board in the middle of the table and make it family game night. Or the new television he wants to purchase can be useful if you want to have a family movie night. In a family it's common that major purchases should be able to be used by the entire family, and this should extend to your husband's new obsessions as well.

While many wives and mothers handle the household budget, that doesn't mean that what others want isn't important. The purchases your husband wants to make are just as important as the purchases you want to make. Instead of looking at each suggestion negatively, try to look at the benefits. It may not be something that you enjoy, or that you would personally choose, but it's important to him for a reason. If it truly does have benefits, there's no reason you can't try to alter your budget to make the purchase.

Investing in Gold Bullion

It is a very good investment to buy gold bullion. Bullion refers to any precious metal in a form which is valued on the worth of the metal and not based on currency value. It is affected by three factors, namely, metal, weight and purity.

Gold bullion is higher than silver. How did the gold acquire its high value? Imbalanced supply and demand is behind this. Mines all over the world are able to scrape gold around 2,500 tons annually, yet, this is not adequate to suffice the needs of the market, leading the central banks to elevate the price of gold. The high prices invite the mining industry to produce more and bring the imbalance to equilibrium.

As long as the balance has not reached, you need to buy bullion and it is favorable especially if you are looking forward to a stable future. It is also advised that gold IRA account be considered. Including such investment in your retirement plan is beneficial as trends that result to negative conditions, like inflation and bank failures, are equated to upward worth of the bullion.

You can never believe the earnings you will yield after selling these gold coins. Gold is taken as one of the most liquid investment as you can have it converted into cash in any country at any time. You do not have to worry in looking for a buyer in case you need it to be exchanged.

Virtual Teachers

Responsible moms strive hard to dedicate their attention 100%, as much as possible, to their children. But when you are doubly making a career being an employee and a mom, teaching the kids daily becomes a hassle, not to mention, you have to cook and occasionally fix the clothes.

As curriculum progresses, subjects like math develop difficulty that even mothers take time to study it before they can expain well to the children. Well, you may not be an algebra solver.

Hiring a tutor may not be in the priority budget list, however, it is an important consideration. For K12 and college tutoring, enroll your kids online. Struggling with 4th grade math or 5th grade math will no longer be a stress for them since virtual tutors are available as the need arises. You can now drop the hard times in coaching adding fractions, linear programming and line plot.

Stop those headaches and migraines. Online tutoring is very convenient and affordable so do not fear going out of the budget. When the situation calls for your attention that you cannot heed, your kid can just turn on the computer and connect with their web teacher to seek SOS. Soon your children will no longer find solving equations as a challenge but a very simple task he can handle.

PBW: Sunday with Five Kids

We were supposed to watch In Your Eyes or The Expandables last weekend but it was rescheduled for next sunday since almost all my girlfriends was into something beyond our control. And since i already promised Yena that we will go to SM, we brought her and her cousins at the mall for some bonding time.

Am used to having lots of kids around the house on weekends, we sometimes 'borrow' husband's nephews and nieces (we call them hator) and made our little house their playground...
And my sister's kids are usual guests at our house - so imagine a number of kids in a small house - RIOT!  ^_^
But yesterday, we went out of the house with five very active kids in tow. So husband, my sister and I had a very tiring weekend at that! =)
It was fun hanging out with kids, always fun. How about you? Care to share your weekend stories? Click the badge to join. See you!

Dear Bestfriend,

Last night, you told me you ‘like’ Nash, the cute little boy on your Jollibee’s cd. Oh will this be the start of our ‘crush topics’? Is it the start of worrying? I know you are growing bigger and wiser everyday but I am still worried. Baby, please don’t grow too fast. I still enjoy your tricks every now and then – and your sweet little voice saying I love you is something I won’t trade to anything in the world.

Please don’t grow so fast, or if you do, remember that you have your best friend here. Please always tell me that I am you bestest friend.. and you are my favorite partner in crime at home. We both kick daddy’s ass when we want to coz we are partners! Remember that!

Please… just please tell me all your little stories like the way you used to every night when I came home from work. Please continue nagging me when I seem too busy in front of my laptop. Please continue telling me I look like Bea Alonzo and that I smell good always… ^_^

Please my best friend.. I hope we can still talk like this until my hair is gray and yours at your prime. I love you to bits my baby! Thank you for telling me I am your best friend coz you are my BESTEST ever!

This is my letter to my little partner in crime at home, my daughter and my bestfriend, YENA. My share on LTINS this thursday.

Operate Online!

After you exhausted yourself for a year disseminating flyers for your founded company, you find that the effort is not enough. The customers are not recognizing the business, thus, your services are not sought, giving a negative impact to your income. You have very limited resources to put an ad in the television or insert in between radio shows. What else can be more frustrating than this? Well, the solution lies in your hand! Go online. Eliminate those unnecessary costs in extending your services to the potential market such as transportation and meal expenses.

Create your own website and begin connecting with webhosting hub... Eureka! You can do business online. Having your own site, you can reach any customer worldwide and spread the good news of your services. Not only that, you can design your site according to your goals. Insert reading materials to enhance the features of your company. Do blogging to post weekly updates. Best of all, you can beam your promotions and enticing offers in just a minute. No hassle.

You will be amazed that you get feedback from patrons in a short time as soon as your site is working. Not only that; your employees can do email bearing your company’s name in their addresses. How professional it may project your image! So, create your own website now or you lose the perks…

PBW: Bonding at Sisters of Mary School

The usual picture taking happens right after the mass, and here's a picture of my family with our youngest niece Yushin. Look at yena's green-monster-face (she doesn't like mommy carrying another baby but her!)

She's all smile and back to her naughty-self when i assured her that she will always be mommy's little baby ^_^ and Yushin, joey and jean's daughter, is most loved because she is mommy and daddy's favorite youngest niece and she will be daddy's little girl too if that can fill up joey's absence. Am glad she understands. (i hope she understands) hihih

And under the scorching heat of the sun, we went to Sisters of Mary School, my beloved alma mater who's just 15 minutes away from where we live to bond with my batchmates...
The beautiful chapel behind us is where Fr Al, The Sisters of Mary founder, lies. He died March 16, 1992 and now in the process of canonization. We celebrated the 25 years founding anniversary of the school that helps the poorest of the poor get quality education not only here in the Philippines but also in South Korea, Brazil and Guatemala. And i am one of the product of this school, proud 1998 graduate! ^_^

Liham para sa aking Sarili (Letter to Self)

Mahal kong Niko,

Binabati kita!

Ang aking bahagi sa Letters that ‘ll Never Send in tagalog version. Dahil ngayong buwan ayon kay Mys ay buwan ng wika. Pindutin ang magandang badge (pakitagalog ulit) para sumali at magbasa ng mga makabagdamdaming sulat. Maligayang Huwebes sa inyong lahat!

PBW: Rainy Sunday

We spent our weekend at home since the weather can be very unpredictable. Yael, my nephew turned three today so the kids take turn in blowing the cake. ^_^ I love looking at them when they blow the candle endlessly. Kids have simple joy and its contagious...

After the tireless blowing of cakes we spent the afternoon watching The Buzz Showbiz Central and basketball. If our TV could talk, for sure it has lots of complaints most especially if husband holds the remote. What i love about rainy weekend is the nice talks with husband and yena's presentation of her many tricks over merienda of banana cue and coke.

How about you? How was your weekend?
