12 ways to be happy

1. make up your mind to be happy. learn to find pleasure in simple things.

2. make the best of your circumstances. noone has everything and everyone has something of sorrow intermingled with gladness in life. the trick is to make the laughter outweigh the tears.

3. dont take yourself too seriously. dont think that somehow you should be protected from misfortune that befalls other people

4. you cant please everybody. dont let criticism worry you.

5. dont let your neighbor set your standards. be yourself.

6. do the things you enjoy doing but stay out of debt.

7. never borrow trouble. imaginary things are harder to bear than real ones.

8. since hate poisons the soul, do not cherish jealousy. avoid people who make you unhappy.

9. have many interests. if you cant travel, read about new places.

10. dont hold postmortems. dont spend your time brooding over sorrows or mistakes. dont be one who never gets over things.

11. do what you can for those less fortunate than yourself.

12. keep busy at something. a busy person never has time to be unhappy.

yobib and his new front tooth

i knocked out yobib

emergency leave kami ni yobib kahapon. our main agenda, to look for a dentist who will make his front teeth anew! night before we had a fight, a boxing fight. it was meant to be playful. but he hit me pretty hard with so many punches. at dahil nasaktan ako, gumanti ako ng suntok. naiwasan niya ang kanang kamao ko pero di sya nakailag sa bangis ng left upper cut ko! yes. sounds like a battered husband. but hey we're just playing! he started it! tinapos ko lang ng isang makasaysayan at malupit na knocked out!

after some text to friends and reaching unreach numbers, a friend of mine from PLM referred us to Dra. Anne of Counter Decay Clinic at Paco. We came there at 1030 and she finished yobib's build up and measuring up of new tooth at around 1pm. at 7pm Dra texted yobib "And2 na ngipin mo, pede na natin ikabit!" so funny. and at 8pm he had his new front tooth already.. boila! :)

the housemates are all not feeling well yesterday. daryl spent afternoon at the house. after having our lunch at around 2pm we all take a NAP until 7pm. it was a long nice nap and it kept me unawake even the rain is pouring so hard! while daryl and yobib cleared the flood at the kitchen, i continue my so soundful sleep! :D

right now, i am still the AIDS-person. whew. i think i am loaded here at work but it is so manageable that leaves me with a week of being so idle. sometimes i love it, sometimes im beginning to get tired of it..

heneweys, im still with eastern. di pa ko nagreresign. i repeat DI PA! :D LOL. kasi nga balak ko if ever na aalis ako dito, abroad na aketch. gusto ko nga jan sa canada kasi andyan ka.. eh panu naman ako makakarating dyaan?! hanggang pangarap na lang siguro ako.. at least andyan ka sa lupang pangarap kong marating, masaya na ko nun!

di ako nakapunta sa binyag sa baby ni mama wheng kasi nag overnight swimming kami before that day eh kasarapan ng tulog hayun anung petsa na ko nagising.. mukang galit sila saken, sana mapatawad nila ako.. :)

hindi naman sira ang number ko dito sa opisina, baka nagkataon lang na pag tumatawag ka nawawala sa linya.. hehehe! oi seryusli! tawagan mo ako!!! hmp. i miss speaking with you.. yah know!! ibang level kasi daig ang english ni hugh grant! LOL

and i miss you bruk.. tsubra! as in! do u still know what i mean?!!! i mean libreng lafang sa greenbelt/glorietta!!! :D oi di lang dahil dun kita miss ha.. u ought to know that by now.. it;s not the same without you.. (drama!) ang tropa ay di kumpleto dahil wala si ikaw, sad kasi wla ikaw.. last na kita kits nga eh nung despedida mo pa! imagine?! tagal na nun!! heheh total of 8 months na rin pala!!

oi sya, lunch time na. u know i have to eat na and take a nap. u know im a busy person now.. im busy eating and sleeping. :)

ingat ka jan ha! ihalik mo ako sa lupa ng canada! at wag mong kalimutan pag uwe mo - - PASALUBONG ko!!!

reading time!

see what i got for today! i bought 4 books for only P350. wink! second hand but still looking brand new.. and i intend to give some to people i so adore and love here on earth!

+ for my brother dear, i bought him The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain. I wish he will like it more than the cellphone loads he always asked from me once in a while! Kitikitext na bata! Magbasa ka!! Hmp. :D

+ for my cutest niece Iya, (i know she cant read this at this early, heheh) basta i bought it for her! What is my Shadow Made Of? Questions Kids ask About Everyday Science.. and to think na di ko na rin masagot ng maayos ang mga kung anik anik na Q & A na to, (review session ko rin to!) i will read it to her, surely!

+ for my baby yobib, the ever fanatic of greek mythology, knowing how impatient he is with reading a book like this, hope he will finish reading this book by Homer The Odyssey! and when i told him i bought him this book his reaction was, "eh we already watched that uh?!" galing! heheh.

+ and for me, A Secret Affair by Barbara Taylor Bradford.. an officemate ask me why i chose this, i said i just like the title! heheh. If there's Forbidden Fantasy i would surely buy it! :D
