What to do with your canned goods?

Husband and i agreed that we will never buy Yena any toy not until she knows how to ask for them. Yena got almost all of her toys as gifts from her godparents and some were from hand-me-downs. And speaking of toys, as much as we wanted to give her everything, we don't want her to get used to it. And so one night, i was surprised with what she did with our canned goods!

I don't know if i will feel pity for her for having to play with that improvised bricks, but i told husband to start looking for play bricks and buy one for her the soonest. It really tore my heart to see her playing happily with this one..

I know i have a happy child but this time i know we have to amend our rule of the house. You will have your bricks sooner my dear Yena! Promise!! :)

Hahaha very resourceful naman DIL ko hehehe... Mare wag kang mag alala, all kids love to play with can goods, rylie used to always unload our lazy susan and spread out the can goods.. they find a lot of fun doing it... plus pots and pans hehehe..

But blocks i a good brain enhancer so I would recommend/suggest for you to buy yena one set lol..

Hi, Mommy Niko! haha! yeah, okay yan. si Yz ko, ganyan din ginawa sa mga milk at tuna cans. super bored na sya sa toys nya. ok lang yan, don't feel sorry, kase it boosts creativity diba.. alam mo ung mga pamangkin ko (anak ng ate ko) ang toys lang nila eh mga basyo ng baby oil at alcohol, pero they're having fun with them. sila na mismo nag make believe kung anong klaseng toys un. lalapit sakin un then sasabihin nya, toy gun daw un, tapos lalaro na kame.

it's really funny when kids make believe lalu na at young age like Yena. it shows that she's a very bright girl and can make do kung ano meron. pero shempre you have to introduce other things to her para ma-improve pa ang mind. ^^

As psychology dictates, kids have stages of development which they need to undergo to proceed to the next one or she gets a fixation. Thus, your daughter will surely find a way to achieve it. I just hope she doesn't play with cans because they can hurt her. My brother has a scar on his forehead directly above his nosebridge from hitting his head on a can of Nido when he was 3. The doctor had to stitch him up.
