He stole my piece of bread!
And the boy ran; pass the bread to his cousin.
The rich boy grab the piece of bread back, slap the poor boy, spit into his face and wailed loudly “Mommy he stole my bread!!”
“But you have your bread back?” His mommy said.
“No! He tried to steal my bread.”
“ He was sorry, he said his cousin pass the bread to him.” The understanding mom said.
“He stole from me. I am the victim here. I want him in prison!”
Read this: He gets back his piece of bread but still wanted to put the poor boy in prison. Cruelty.

I have read this somewhere:
TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR FEELINGS. Even though the other person may be at fault, even though the other person wronged you, you are still responsible for your own feelings. In other words, other people do not "cause" your feelings. You choose them!
My say:
If you want to dwell with negative feelings, be responsible. You are not the only victim here. By chance, someone has been the worst victim because of you!
So I have to choose my ‘feelings’: I will choose to be happy and forgiving. How about you?
Have a nice day everyone!

Napaka - thought provoking naman nito Niko girl. Well said! There are two sides na dapat i-consider dito. Una, the motive of the boy who stole the bread: Was it because of hunger? He had to steal because he needs to survive. By doing so, he is aware of the consequences. Then, let us scrutinized the action of the rich boy. Was it because he was devastated because that bread is his favorite? OR, he just want to humiliate the boy who stole the bread? Either way, may hindi tayo nakita. And that is the human nature with in us. Capable of making mistakes and ignoring the virtue of Respect, humility and Forgiveness. Sana lang, out of this story, we can take out the negative feelings and learn to be forgiving.
it was the cousin who tried to steal the bread and just pass it to the BOY..
the BOY got all the hurt and humilation while the cousin ran away. we dont know what's on the RICH BOY's mind, but the way story goes he chose to be UNFORGIVING.
hmmmm u saw a lot of things at the story.. love ur thoughts! :)
another good post dear :-), thanks for sharing....i'll say forgive and forget na lang as Amy said...easier said than done, but we need to do it as Christ did for us and to us!...He even said...it wouldn't be easy to forgive and forget, but it would be worth it if we do!
Yeah, it is better to forgive. It will make peaceful feeling.
when you harbor ill feelings in your heart, the more you will become unhappy. i'd say forgive and forget. even if the forgetting part can sometimes be difficult, at least one is learning to let it go. very well said aniks..
and oh, i followed what you said in your email. am just waiting if my PR will return in a few days. pag wala, new domain name na talaga ako. take care dear!
Mare just came by to tell you that I have something special for you at my place, hope you like it.
It was the boy's cousin who stole the bread, yet he said sorry. Only, he was not forgiven by the rich boy.
One similar case I know, the one who erred did not say sorry at all nor showed any signs of remorse. Parang sya pa ang galit.
Oo nga we're all humans so we err, and oo nga forgive and forget na lang. But not all wounds heal easily, minsan it takes time talaga. And forgiveness doesn't mean the sinner can get away from the sin. Somehow, he/she will have to pay for it. Palaging may kapalit. And being human means capable din talaga tayong magalit.
Sa totoo lang, it's so easy to forgive someone, lalo na kung may pagsisisi. Pero kung wala kang makitang pagsisisi, you may also be forgiven yun nga lang it takes time.
Siguro naman if the person you are talking about here have personally asked for forgiveness, I'm sure patatawarin naman sya.
