Dearest Yenggay Aruray,

It has been days when your daddy and I would go home late at night – 10pm is supposed to be your sleeping time BUT since mom and dad has to work double time we have our sleeping time moved to 12am. I know you wake up at 10am, I just hope you grow up well in spite of ‘weird’ sleeping habits.

Our bonding time is shortened to two hours – in the middle of the night we laugh and play and do house chores coz that’s the only time we have for each other. You would laugh hard when i call you Yenggay Aruray - you are so kikay!

I miss you baby. Mommy is doing something for you.. I know for sure you will be happiest when i finally got it! I love seeing your surprised-happiest-smile when receiving surprise gifts.. You certainly love surprises, you got that from me! ;)

Remember the little basketball I gave you last Monday? Your face lit up with delight the moment you saw it. And I love to see that perfect smile again..

Soon baby I will make it up for you. By March we will be spending time longer every night and on weekends while watching your favorite DVDs on your own portable DVD, that’s a promise!

If i were Kris Aquino

Hi! I am back from a 3 day vacation, lol. Its always hard to start the week from a long weekend. But am so glad I made it through. I will be going home but decided to update this untouched blog since last week, err.

Anyways, have you heard about kris aquino’s recent controversy? There has been a buzz on that from last week’s entertainment world, in television and broadsheets. I know some bloggers wrote about this already and posted the video of Kris Aquino while airing her side on the Buzz (hi ms beng!). As a wife like Kris, I just want to voice out my opinion.

I have been on the same situation in the past - - but without the civilized confrontation part. There was a girl who used to be a Mayen Austria in my husband’s life. And upon knowing this I bombarded the girl with all the horrific and dreadful SMS I could ever send to someone – she was lucky enough I don’t know where she lives coz If I do I would be in front of her house confronting her with loud cries of – ‘leave my husband alone!’

So I have to say that Kris Aquino has a class of her own, or with breeding to be able to handle the situation calmly and composed confronting the girl on a civilized manner. When she said ‘ I am uncomfortable with your daughter calling my husband’ – I would never say that to someone. I would really say worst if I were Kris.. I am not a "silent" wife. ;)

On Leave

I will be on vacation leave tomorrow both on corporate and blogging world. ;) I have filed for that VL a week ago :)

My Yena is Two! Two! Two! :) LOL

Tomorrow is the 2nd birthday of my little girl.. I have a ‘please don't disturb’ sign and will spend the whole day and weekend with her..

Will try to blog and blog hop when the birthday girl is sleeping, hahah..

Why I love AVATAR

Because it is written and directed by one of the greatest director in the world.. James Cameron. Cameron did wonder in True Lies, Terminator and Titanic so I told myself I have to watch this Avatar movie and am so glad I did.

Because Sam Worthington as Jake Sully is so “PAPA” I want to be her Neytiri for a day. LOL

Because just like the Na’vis I want to fly or at least ride a bird to take me to the air..

Because the film became the second highest-grossing film of all time worldwide within three weeks of its release, with a worldwide gross of over $1 billion. source

But most of all, I love AVATAR because I watched it next to the most good looking and sweetest husband in the whole wide world.

Run, Niko, Run!

I had a dinner date with my college friends last night. Husband, who went home late for two days straight decided to go home early to be with Yena. I have been out of sight with my friends, I forgot my social life, it has become a habit to go home straight after work as I want to give yena at least some ample time of bonding every day. I feel guilty when I spend almost 12 hours at work and a less time to my only daughter.

So the dinner went smoothly, and I was back to the circle after few months of absence. BUT still I can’t give my 100% ‘jolly self’ while my mind was running wild on what my husband and daughter was doing while am away… I always wish they can go with me – every time.

So when I arrived home, I asked husband if yena looked for me. He said, she did - nonstop. I could imagine my talkative girl asking her daddy - MOMMY OFFICE PA?! (daddy, is mom still in the office?) And then after a few seconds will ask the same question over and over again. That is what she is when husband is not around..

I remembered all her words.. While asking for a juice she would ask – Mommy, daddy office pa? Tawag naten? (mommy, is dad still in the office? Can we call him?) And then would reprimand her dad on the phone – daddy uwe na, tagal mo, bilis mo! Babye.. loveyou.. ingat ka ha.. sulat ka ah! (daddy, please come home, faster! Bye.. I love you.. take care.. mail me!) Her exact words ring to my head – as if an alarm. She is very chatty with a ‘kris aquino’ pitch – I know she got that from me.

And when I gave her a cup of juice she would say – ‘thank you mommy’ or would say to whoever gave her something ‘ thank you mommy’ as if everybody is her mom.. hahah

So at sharp 5pm I will be running home. I miss my daughter... Misss the little parrot :)Niko and Yena First Sunday of 2010
