400th post on my 3rd year blog anniversary!

I cannot believe I am doing my 400th entry and is celebrating my 3rd year anniversary in blogging today. Can you believe it? Coz I don’t! Time pass by so quickly huh. hahah

I started blogging upon seeing Lolo Apol’s blog - i have to clear that the LOLO is just a term of endearment here, my lolo isnt that old yet. Got the quietly passionate template right after at Ate Sienna’s. This two precious are my mentors in blogging. I love them both. Yes I have to give in to that burger burger lolo has been bugging me all this time :)

I started earning since December when lolo apol told me to. Actually there are two persons I would like to give my heartfelt thanks in my journey of earning moolah through blogging, to my very supportive lolo apol and to my ever gorgeous and generous kumareng umma, thank you is not enough. Muchas Gracias dearest!!

For all this time, having online friends whom I love and adore seems so surreal. Thanks for the friendship guys. I have been very very addicted to blogging because of all of you!

Its Friday already and the Husband is not yet HOME!

Lonely Nights

I don’t know if there was something wrong with my body temperature last night. Upon arriving home I was sweating out but I felt so cold inside. The house seems so lonely. I miss the laughter of my two precious playing while am preparing our dinner. And it was gloomy to eat alone. Without him I feel so empty.

Sleeping without my husband beside me was like sleeping half awake. It was the first night without him and tonight would be the last night. I just hope its Thursday already that I can sleep soundly like before. I miss someone hugging and embracing me, my feet seem missing its entwined partner too, and oh how my hands miss those broad shoulders to hug and would always dozed me off to sleep. But what I have to endure most are the two nights without his good night kiss. I miss my flirty husband so much. Oh how I wish its Thursday already.

Dream Luggage for Our October Get Away

I was laughing when husband was planning his trip to davao last Tuesday as I told him if I should put his stuff on my mom’s biggest bag. As he doesn’t have any Briefcases , and would carry few clothes we make do of his sister’s gym bag.

I was telling him that we have to buy our own luggage as we will be going to Palawan on October. We would be visiting the place for the first time with lots of friends and our daughter Yena in tow so we should be armed with the biggest luggage I can possibly imagine.

My search for the ultimate luggage directs me to this one awesome website and I can’t stop picking my choices. Checking what’s in store left me thrilled at this one set of Carry-On Luggage as I can imagine how it can be fashionable, chic and modern. Of course I also have to think about some wheeled carry on luggage just in case yena would be so glued to me, I still have a choice to carry her and help carry some stuffs from hubby.

Ripe Mangoes, Sweet Corn: I love!

No it is not craving time anymore. But this two particular chow are my most favorite of all time. Don't you know that i can live for a week with only sweet corn? You won't hear me complain, i just love sweet corn. I can't refuse grilled yellow corn, that is the most heavenly thing i can eat over and over again in a day! To hell with bits and specks of black and yellow at my teeth right after eating.. Hahah :)

Now for this ripe and golden yellow mango that i loved to smell when i was pregnant with my daughter. Now am not surprised to see her consume two ripe mangoes straight! I love the smell and its sweeetness. Those moments, i must say, i am forgetting my name! LOL

Necessities on a Trade Show

Our company, in its quest to be well known in the country, always joins trade shows. It is from where customers would learn about our product that would soon be our clients. I would envy those marketing staffs that would be busy running around for the completion of one trade show to another. It is where they put all effort to let our product sell in a market that has a very stiff competition. Sometime ago I joked around my boss and told him I would like to be transferred to Marketing department, I want the thrill of organizing things. He laughed, little did he knew that I meant it.

Since I love browsing the internet for possible sites with ideas on trade show booths I came across Camelbackdisplays.com. Am keeping my Smartbro wireless prepaid, No choice.

Since I have been using my smartbro wireless at home, which is very very slow by the way, I asked my younger sister to inquire at PLDT and Digitel on their internet package in our area. I have high hopes to have at least 384kbps back, cause using the wireless of smartbro is like reaching my boiling point it only reached up to 90kbps. I can view my blog after 10 minutes of waiting, can’t view the message box and comments and can’t even open plurk! Worst is I can’t use yahoo messenger!!

So for those weekends, when I have a spare time to open my nancy laptop and browse the internet I choose to sleep instead. So weekends mean no blogging, blog hopping, no opps, no moolah. Nothing. Nah.

So came the reply of PLDT, my sister said they don’t have internet package yet and directs us to SMART. Digitel however don’t have available slot in our area.. Other internet companies hasn’t reached our province YET. I am looking forward to my company’s internet connection near our area very soon. I know by that time I will have a great time.

I bought this prepaid kit after i had my account deactivated with Smart last month for P1,995. I was trying to sell it for P1,500 coz i don't like to keep 'anything' SMART in my life but i have no choice. Am keeping it for the mean time. So it looks like I still don’t have internet connection at home! See you everybody every weekdays! Sigh.

PS: I am not flying to Davao! How i wish.. Now i have to share who's flying on my next entry. Keep on guessing.. heheh

I have great fascination over limousines. I wonder what would I feel on that one given day when I finally get the chance to ride one. Oh I can imagine my delight! That is the childish in me talking now. But I really adore this ride more than anything else. For most of my dreaming ours I can see myself, smiling with most pleasure whilst being flown away after my wedding day by a Boston Limousine.

I have been sharing how I found gems in the internet through my blog. Friends being synonymous with gems, I know I am the richest gal in the world because of them so these true gems am keeping with me until the end. With the internet as medium nowadays, there are countless choice on how to make friends, finding them and keeping them. Some prefer friendster or facebook while some prefer blogging and chat rooms.

My Share of Green Mango

Now is really the time of unusual cravings again. Am salivating while writing this here at office and am only waiting for husband to fetch me. How i wish he is already here so that we can go home and start satisfying my hunger for this green produce.

I have been eating chocolates the whole day, and now suddenly i am craving for the greenest mango. good thing husband bought me a kilo yesterday, which is by the way is very very cheap, an P8per kilo of mango during this time, good thing!

and now i can't wait to go home.. hmmmmm.

How smart is SMART – Final Part

Composed but really really angry I told the customer service officer everything I wanted to tell SMART! This would be a reiteration to what I told that good officer: plain and simple letter from a disgusted customer like me.

Dear Smart,

You are very smart but very very UNFAIR. I would never know how you approve or disapprove waiver letter regarding any refund, no one does. The discretion is sole yours. But I have to say that with that refund and for whoever asked for waiver, for 100%, i think you only grant 10% of them. That is my opinion!

Coz if I were SMART, why would I pay back the P800 refund to customers that cut their service to me? I would lose months of revenue plus pay them back? Am not stupid, I am SMART! (SMART talking here, not me!)

But because I really need a connection at home, I got another Smart prepaid wireless connection worth P1,995 after i disconnected that post paid account. Sadly, it never works! I thought it would be fast to use to key cities in the philippines with a promise speed of up to 2Mbps but it is really hopeless! See how great (sarcasm) and smart your commercial is? Telling the people you have the best internet connection is bogus! Shame on you Smart!

My point here is, charge me P10,000 pre termination fee if i just thought of disconnecting my account with you with no VALID reason at all! Why do i have to pay for the pre term fee if the problem is your signal in my area?! That just ain't right!

I don’t need you to pay me P1,000, no I don’t really need that from you. Give me the fairness I need and I will pay you P8,000. But I doubt if you know how fairness is, so am signing off.

A Place to Meet New Friends

Never in my wildest of dreams imagine myself of having real friends through the internet. It is really startling to think that I will be enjoying the online presence of them coz am really very aloof person, I distance myself to strangers of any kind. Looks like some kind of magic has struck me cause for many months now I have been enjoying my constant chitchats and conversations with my beloved blogging friends.

My few personal friends can attest to my being so aloof. As they sometimes commented on how I have been behaving with strangers before, they are surprise to know now that I found lots of friendly individuals in the worldwide web. Seems like am a new person being born again!

I must say the internet has really made wonders with the world now. It is no more a shocker when someone from the farthest west side of the world can be a friend to someone from the east. I must say blogging and chats are the starting phase. Blogging needs some time and lots of effort in building and meeting friends online. While chats, I must say is the shortest cut! I am not surprise to know that there are lots of people who are enjoying this free interracial chat. They are crossing the bridge of the world by making friends!

How smart is SMART – Part II

After two weeks, I went to the wireless center and put my account on disconnection on which they let me make a letter to waive my pre termination fee. The smart bro plan 999 has a 12 months contract so a pre termination fee of P10,000 should be paid if I would like to terminate my account within 12 months. So I did a letter telling them how I wanted my connection BUT there is no signal in our area! It was useless to maintain my account, or revert back to my old address or place my connection on another area. They were not valid choices for me! The contractors can attest to that signal problem! So with high hope that they would approve my letter, I thought I would be getting some adjustments on my last bill and a refund of P800.

Calling their customer hotline, 02-6727277. I was told I could get the adjustment of my bill of P200+. I inquired about the refund and was told to ask about it on the Smart wireless center at our place.

For the finale, I will not be getting any money from smart. In fact I owe them P8,000+ of the pre termination fee. I was told the letter I made asking for waive on my disconnection was not approved, so I have to pay the pre termination fee. Instead of P10,000 it will only be P8,000 because of the adjustments and the refund. How smart!

Starbucks Mocha Frappe

On my January confinement due to gall bladder infection, my doctor advised me not to drink coffee. As stubborn as i am, i sometimes indulge with coffee without my husband knowing it. So for those times i was experiencing some stomach cramps, i have to blame those coffee hours.

I am swearing now that after my share of this mocha frappe, which is free by the way coz i don't buy P145 a cup for just a coffee, goodness! There will be no more coffee for me. Am afraid this tummy aches am feeling almost everyday might lead to something i will regret in the future. So no matter how hard it is, goodbye coffee!

How smart is SMART – Part 1

To start with, I have my smartbro plan 999 since December 2008. Globe, PLDT and Eastern Telecom has not reach our province yet, or if they do the connection I was told will not be favorable. So without any choice, I applied to Smart. Got my connection within the week and I had a grand time with my connection sometimes. As we all know how Smartbro works. It is an unlimited connection for a month with a charge of only P999.00, so cheap. And yes the service match with the price. But as I said that I don’t have any choice, I kept on.

Until we moved to our new house March 2009. I wanted my connection relocated. That was a MUST. I paid smart, P1,450 for relocation fee, I was told I could refund P800 if the process of relocation would not be successful. So for those trial times of searching a signal at our new house, the two contractors gave up, there was no signal in our area. The place seemed congested. I was told one tower of Smart was not working near our place. Persistent to have my connection I told them to retry and check on it again for days. It seemed I would not have my connection, so my three choices were, 1) to revert back to my old address, 2) to transfer to any locations or 3) to permanently disconnect my account with them. As number 1 and 3 would seem so impossible (imagine this, I have my own house and my connection on another address) and that would be very inconvenient! So I decided to disconnect my account, in order not to be charge for a service I will not be getting. (So i thought it was a smart move on my part, but i was wrong!)

I have a SMARTBro Plan 999 last December 2008. Paid Php1,450 relocation fee on March 2009. I was told I can get the refund of Php800 if the relocation unsuccessful. I did not have my connection since March at our new house. I decided to permanently disconnect my account. I expected a refund of P800 plus an adjustment on my bill of P200+ by April 2009.

Smart owes me P1,000+ BUT I will HAVE to pay them P8,000+!

Don’t let your car fail you down

I was with my previous employer for a free ride to a client meeting when his car failed down. The heat, the pollution plus my weary face I could not imagine how we managed to get to the meeting an hour late. Having no knowledge with car myself I wonder if the problem comes with diesel fuel pump that is not functioning well.

Happy Mother's Day to Me!

Friday night, I have been smiling while planning for my second mother's day celebration come sunday. In my mind i am excitedly packing yena's bag for a quick trip to Araneta Coliseum to watch PBA with husband, his brother Maki and my brother Lui. After mass we should be running for the next bus to Pasig to attend Chico's first birthday, Pehpot's son.

But none of my plan turned to reality. As yena got on and off fever since saturday, we decided to just stay home. She was really not feeling well at the church while Husband and I were all smiles. The mass was heartrending, everybody almost cried with the song for mother's. I was about to cry too..

Husband's mother's day gifts to me were.. purple flat sandals, lavender crocs sandals from DIVI and purple pouch from michaela :) So, you see i am a spoiled wife sometimes and am so loved by husband ALL the time!! :)

Come sunday afternoon, husband surprised me with what i have been wishing for - a washing machine!!! He told me wanted to buy me lavender colored washing machine, but it was 6.2kg only so he bought me 7.5kg white and pink :) See him goofing around while am taking picture of my newest toy in the house :D

So i have to say that aside from husband's gifts I really have a happy mother's day because of his gestures of love! Because the priest at the mass told every husband and children to give ALL the MOMs a rest from the house chores of the day, I was spoiled all the more because hubby did all the washing of the dishes, cooking and ironing of all our mountain loads of clothes :)

I am sooo happy wife! :) Love you daddy! How i wish its always mother's day. LOL

All I Need for Mother's Day

Now is the time of year again that i can wish for something i so long wanted. Oh well, aside from my birthday! hahah.

For things that include my dream's wish list are: my own digital camera, washing machine, hardbound twilight saga book and an LCD TV for my husband.

But those are what i have been dreaming, just a wish, my wants and NOT a NEED. So for Mother's Day, i have a NEED not for myself but for my MOM.

I need "blessings" from PPP and SS hope they make more! I need to sustain her medication everyday, her checkups and her laboratory tests. It has been a happy journey albeit very very difficult at times to think of my parents and my parents' in laws everyday medicine for they all need to maintain them, but that is life and what it has to offer, so i must say it is still a happy journey with the whole family. Am glad I’ve been loved by PPP and SS for the month of April. So I wish for more blessings from them on months ahead! Thank you very much..

On Sunday I wish every mother would get their biggest hug, sweeetest kiss and loudest iloveu from their children and husband. Mother all over the world should feel they are loved and greatly appreciated not only at this one given Sunday but everyday!

Taiwan, a woman suddenly died unexpectedly with signs of bleeding from her ears, nose, mounth and eyes. After a preliminary autopsy it was diagnosed death due to arsenic poisoning death. Where did the arsenic come from?

The police launched an in-depth and extensive investigation. A medical school professor was invited to come to solve the case.

The professor carefully looked at the contents from the deceased's stomach, in less than half an hour, the mystery was solved. The professor said: 'The deceased did not commit suicide and neither was she murdered, she died of accidental death due to ignorance!'

Everyone was puzzled, why accidental death? The arsenic is of the U.S. military for carrying rice seedlings H Gao. The professor said: 'The arsenic is produced in the stomach of the deceased.' The deceased used to take 'Vitamin C' everyday, which in itself is not a problem. The problem was that she ate a large portion of shrimp/prawn during dinner. Eating shrimp/prawn is not the problem that's why nothing happened to her family ever though they took the same shrimp/prawn. However at the same time the deceased also took 'vitamin C', that is where the problem is!

Researchers at the University of Chicago in the United States , found through experiments, food such as soft-shell shrimp/prawn contains a much higher concentration of - five potassium arsenic compounds.

Such fresh food by itself has no toxic effects on the human body! However, in taking 'vitamin C', due to the chemical reaction, the original non-toxic - five potassium arsenic (As anhydride, also known as arsenic oxide, the chemical formula for As205) changed to a three potassium toxic arsenic (ADB arsenic anhydride), also known as arsenic trioxide, a chemical formula (As203), which is commonly known as arsenic to the public!

Arsenic poisoning have magma role and can cause paralysis to the small blood vessels, "mercapto Jimei", inhibits the activity of the liver and fat necrosis change Hepatic Lobules Centre, heart, liver, kidney, intestine congestion, epithelial cell necrosis, telangiectasia. Therefore, a person who dies of arsenic poisoning will shows signs of bleeding from the ears, nose, mounth & eyes.

Therefore; as a precautionary measure, DO NOT not take shrimp/prawn when taking 'vitamin C'.

Online shopping for my Dog Vivian

I admit I am a pet lover. Specifically I love dogs. I have a three-year-old dog back at my parent’s house and we named her Vivian from the lead character of the TV series Lovers in Paris. She is such a joy in the house. Looks like we have a little darling! She’s a smart. We never call her any other name than Vivian, shout her name and she will be there pronto.

I have been thinking of changing her collar and get thrilled when I opened shopwiki and got various choices for dog collar and leash. I didn’t know there is a shopwiki that works like google. Tattooed in my mind

I have a strong fascination with people who have tattoo’s. I have an officemate on my previous job that has a mickey mouse tattoo on her right hand. It amazes me more when she said her friend did it to her during her high school days. She told me the needle pain was bearable and if given another chance she would like a matching Minnie mouse tattoo on his left hand.
